I was reading some tweets while... doesn't matter...

In Portugal, our Gov is proposing to charge extra €0.02 for each GB in external hard drives with 1TB and €0.025 if 2TB!!! Smart phones will also see their prices going up for each GB of internal memory...

That's not all... health care centers/Hospitals are charging €3 for answering email, letters and phone calls...

Some one calls the family doctor because the baby ain't feeling ok, and BAMM, pay €3 just for that... yeah...​

3 dollars per? in terms of the Memory? And hospitals need money, that is alot, but tehn again, if you have to choose between shutting down, and cutting the phone off from poor old mom :shrug: who are they gonna choose :/

My grandmothers lived fine without having phones or email or any sort of electronic memory. Thinking we have to rely on technology that is only recently invented or standardized is a fallacy. It is a choice.

Only the public centers are doing it... The problem is: you go see a doc and you wait for hour because he comes to work late. then he goes to the cafeteria take the breakfast, then chats a bit with the colleges, then does what is supposed to! And not the best performance because they must go fast because they lost quite some time doing s h * t...

That's why many ppl are going to the private hospital. At least they pay but are well received!​

I must say i agree with you to some extent... the problem is not the problem per si but the amount of stuff like this that's been going on here...

I mean, as for the tech part, ok, it's an option. Agree a 100%, but as i said, it's not the only problem...

As for the health part... we supposedly pay taxes for this... but that money never reaches it's destination... and if you pay you want to be well served right?!

But they will make that ugly/scary/mad face, not say hello, be arrogant and so on... ​
