haha thats cute and yea i remember that thanks, and anyways as much as i appreciate that rep you gave me i still think your foolish as shit to think that YOU can simply end something between two characters when you don't even know the full extent of pretty much either and as of right now minato is still a bigger mystery than itachi though itachi is as well but not much, i looked at your scenarios and it would seem like your favoring itachi more, oh and btw im not wise at all that why i say can this...come at me when ever your ready...

Why do people keep making this thread? Guess what, you cant really end it by making this shit thread from what I see. I believe the only way is for kishi to make them both fight (itachi vs minato) which is impossible. You cant tell who will win from just a scenerio, afterall we haven't see the limit of the 4th hokage, he might have some way to counter genjutsu, just like the 3rd raikage did while fighting sasuke, sasuke was unable to use genjutsu on him because he knew it won't work on him, the 3rd raikage simply manipulate lightning style chakra to augment reflexes.. Minato cant be caught in a genjutsu easily just like jiraiya cant. There always a way to counter it. Every jutsu had a weakness said by itachi himself.

we still haven't seen all minato can do, i'm pretty sure if he got caught in a genjutsu he can easily dispel it, i don't see y you even put naruto in this line up, naruto's been gettn caught in genjutsu since i can remember.he just never learns,itachi and minato are both top tier shinobis , a fight between them would be one to remember but enough hasn't been shown on the 4th for me to pick a clear winner
You said on what we have seen right? If that's what you are referring to, then have you ever seen anyone use genjutsu on minato? Why cant itachi use a genjutsu on jman? Simply because he didn't look at his face. One of the mean to counter it. Saying that a genjutsu will work on minato Is pointless cos there are ways to counter it which I believe that minato will be aware of cos he's not a genius for no reason.

On your second point, about Minato not being able to see amaterasu, when edo Nagato fought edo Itachi, nagato says something along the lines of, feeling the pressure, and assuming it was amaterasu...so people can sense builds ups of chakra

but keep in mind, this is a S/T barrier, for all we know he can absorb people, much like tobi does. but we dont know how about we save these threads until we find out what he is really capable of.

Dude I am both an Itachi and Minato fan and your argument is invalid.
You just threw out genjutsu because of the fact that we don't know how Minato would react to it. Well you can't do that.
No one is immune to genjutsu, the only thing is that some people can break out of it easier than others. So Minato would get caught in a genjutsu if he looked at Itachi's hands or eyes.
Then it all depends on how fast Minato can break the genjutsu. If he can't do it fast enough then he can be killed easily by Itachi in any number of ways.
Blaze Release was a little biased I will give you that, he forgot to mention a few of Minato's abilities, but the first scenario is where Minato would lose it.
Itachi uses genjutsu, Minato loses. Itachi's genjutsu doesn't work, Minato wins. It is pretty much as simple as that.
