Yeah, the marineford amv is pretty sick.
What really got me into it was luffy vs arlong to be honest. Also the Crocodile fight was great too.

I recommend just keep watching and it'll get really good, but yeah sometimes it can be a bit slow.

To absolutely understand an anime u need to see at least 50 episodes.

dude for me i started watching op like 6month ago, at first i didn't like it due to the graphics. but then i realised it was released in 1997, back then graphics weren't that great. so i just gave up on the show after the first 2episode. then i gave it one more shot due to the popularity of the show, and wanted to see what the big deal about it was. after afew 100episodes i was hooked. what im trying to say is be patient, watch it through, every great anime starts slow put picks up. then again no one can force you to like something you don't, in the end its up to you whether you want to keep watching it or not. happy new year

Well, for me I was hooked the second Luffy jumped out of that barrel xd But when they walked to Arlong Park, that's when I fell in love with it.
