i have that feeling to but it hasn't been confirmed also the naruto generations game is coming out and it isn't everything in the story so i don't think the manger will end until the game has all the story line

By the end of 2012, I expect the war to be over. Basically, I expect Tobi's identity to be fully revealed, and for all the current battles to be over (Madara vs. Kages, 7SM, Naruto vs. Tobi and soon Kabuto vs. Itachi).
I don't know if the series will be over by the end of the year. Simply put, there is a heck of a lot of story left for Kishi to tell. Don't forget, that the war has been going for over a year now so its likely the loose ends won't be finished until about a year from now.
But I think that the fated naruto vs. Sasuke may not happen until after the war is over, but if it is part of the war, it will be the final battle and prlly wont happen until the end of next year at best.

Kishi has lots of questions that need to be answered but if he chooses, he can answer all of them in 1 chapter

I am hoping he brings back Konan... She promised Naruto that she, along with Rain village, would assist him in his goal for peace. She even declared she would become the pillar of support for Naruto just as Nagato and Konan were for Yahiko. The never-ending rain in Rain village suddenly stopping was an interesting scene but Kishi never explained what happened. She also knows about Tobi's huge teleportation weakness and now has knowledge of his Izanagi ability. She would be a great asset to the war if things got messy for the alliance.
Oh and I want to see Sasuke die.
