One Piece?

there has been alot of talk about one piece lately
is it really that good
i kinda wanted to start reading it but im so far behind there is no point
i saw the anime on adult swim once and it was some guy with bungie hands punching people and it wasnt very good

Some people really like it and others hate it. I hate it. It is the most non-serious anime I have ever seen. I started watching some of the new stuff and it took luffy 10 episodes to move across a court yard. The bad guys are very unique and different, however they are so absurdly different none of them are believable.

If you thought DBZ was slow and repeated too many scenes then you will kill yourself watching one piece. It repeats the same stuff more than DBZ could have ever imagined. 3 episode powerups are the norm in one piece.

I gave up into the desert arc and said no more.

I just starTed OP manga a couple werks back and i love it. Its one of my favorite mangas with naruto, dbz and yu yu hakusho.

Its worth the time to read and watch it and catch up to date.

I have only been reading the manga and am a lil bit more than half way through. Its epic man. Purely hilarious, inspiring well planned out story telling. One thing that Oda got right that Kishi didnt is making all the characters useful to the team. Like most people find Sakura useless in Naruto but i doubt anyone would say the same about Nami or Nico Robin in One Piece (am i wrong guys?).

If you love Naruto and/or Goku than youll love Luffy.

The anime did seem goofy but as goofy as it is its also epic. I cant say any much more about how good it is.

Try it out man. I havent watched much anime yet but i plan to watch the japanese with eng subs cuz the viz version has lame edits and funimation is hard to find and i dont like their voicings. So yea check it out
