Who's stronger, Kakashi and Asuma or Kakuzu and Hidan? I'm referring to these warriors at their prime strength, so taking that into consideration:

Location: Forest of Dead trees (where Kakuzu fought Kakashi)

Starting Distance: 100 meters

Conditions: All prime with maximum strength

Restrictions: None

Knowledge: both teams have full Intel and knowledge on their opposing opponents.

Scenario: Kakashi sharpens his executioner blade ready, Asuma starts with flying swallow and flows his chakra through his brass knuckles, Kakuzu has his 5 hearts out and Hidan has his scythe prepared.

Who wins, Kakashi and Asuma

dude.. Kakuzu hidan with ease.
Now you're overdoing and exceeding the border of common sense. Kakashi at his prime, armed with his executioner blade which was rumored to harden and sharpen as it absorbs the iron in blood, at maximum chakra and at his current strength right now, with all his war experience, can put up a decent fight against Kakuzu. He may fall, but he will at least manage to kill 3 hearts and die with a kamui attempted towards one of Kakuzu's limbs, which he improved and progressed at. Asuma with knowledge on Hidan will use his far ranged arsenal on him and probably stall him until Kakashi can use kamui on him. Kakashi is a genius and master at fighting tactics, he'll definitely come up with a diverse plan to fight team kakuzu. they may lose, but don't be redundant and say that team kakashi loses easily. I'd say that they lose, but with extreme difficulty

Might as well have Kakashi face them alone. Kakashi could take Hidan alone with ease, but he and Kakuzu are on even grounds, a fight that could go either way, IMO. I'm going to say Kakuzu and Hidan because Asuma will be made quick work of by Hidan, and it'd be incredibly difficult for Kakashi to take on both.

Kakuzu/Hidan with extremely high difficulty.

Kakashi and Asuma win.

Let me explain:
Asuma already technically defeated/neutralized Hidan when they fought when Asuma decapitated Hidan. The only reason Hidan was still able to fight was because Kakazu stitched his head back on, which he would not be capable of doing in this scenario because he would be busy with Kakashi, so Asuma would make quick work of Hidan.

Kakashi in his latest state by himself IMO could take Kakazu because Iron skin won't protect him from Raikiri, and Kakashi could do about 6 Raikiri's in one day. That's enough to handle 5 hearts from Kakazu. He was also shown able to use a lighning clone and two Kamui's as well A's the 6 Raikiri's in one day which would be more than enough to handle Kakazu. Add the executioners blade with with Raiton channeled through it and its a set match.

Good explanation. But be clear Kakashi and Asuma fought Kakuzu and Hidan in a 4man cell team...Asuma managed to cut Hidan's head off but with the help of Shikimaru removing him from his ritual circle...Asuma can't beat Hidan unless he knows he's immortal beforehand..And even if it's a fair match because Asuma would need a decapitating or severing blow nothing less to Hidan which would be difficult with him mobile. While all Hidan needs is a drop of blood.

Kakashi currently as a General in the 4th Shinobi war is just about even with Kakuzu. Kakashi has made progress since then and Kakuzu has been dead so that has to be taken into accountant...But Kakashi still has his hands full with a ninja with 5 high elemental attacks and 5 lives....6Raikri's can't do that job. And Kamui honestly as recently seen leaves him open for attack afterwards...

So my verdict is Kakashi&Asuma can win this with one of them being dead...the deciding factors are Kakashi and Kakuzu and it all comes down to if your talking about present or pre invasion Pein arc Kakashi....Current Kakashi still as his work cut out for him.
