its called suspense, in fact the only anime or manga ive seen where they didnt talk to build up suspense to the fighting is DBZ
if all the fighting happened at once, itd be over faster then wed all be like "now what" on this site
wat suspense, man this war feel like its been going on forever and no one important has died yet, i mean wtf the war is lame as hell and everything seems to be going the good guys way, where is the loss of hope and the tragic event which makes you think the world is gonna end? kishi sucks at this war he not making it interesting at all,
i wanna see people getting killed in front of naruto, i wanna see how he handles that cause this kid thinks life is just fun and sunshine

and how many people have died over the years in naruto? besides, i gotta ask you a question i gotta ask everyone who says shit like this: is the manga over? no, that means theres still a chance some people are gonna die. remember sasuke and madara are on the loose. with them, theres a good chance people are about to have blood on the outsides of their bodies

I'm pretty sure this kid doesn't think life is just "Fun and sunshine". If you think that, then you've obviously been reading a different manga.
I think this war arc is alright, i like the character development with the beasts because i believe NARUTO's only major flaw is a lack of character development, and for those who don't like the manga either don't read it or if you read it than don't complain about it because its kind of pointless.

The important ones are important because they couldn't be taken down so easily..
Personally I don't want to see 500 threads next day cursing the manga for yet anothe 'lame' death- a lot of people are yet to come with terms of death of Jiraiya, Itachi, even HIdan! Not to froget about Obito. :|
( Ps: Yeah I remember technically Hidan and Oro are not dead. I don't care. )
