Has anyone considered how smart and observant sasuke is? He has won most of his battles by stretching out his fights and formulating his plan. He is just as smart as Shikkamaru and just as observant as kakashi.
Even with all of Naruto's abilities he may be more powerful but I think Sasuke can plan his way around them...
There is a reason why Naruto is still a Genin.

Listen bro, Sasuke would have been dead if Gaara haven't saved him at the Allied Force Conference, when Raikage was about to crush him. Gaara shielded Sasuke to save his face. How is he observant he could have been dead by rushing in the kages like a dumb. And Sasuke isn't close to Shikamaru intelligence so piss off.

This wouldn't even be a fair fight. Naruto knows everything about the MS(not the EMS though) so he will know what to expect. Sasuke knows nothing about Sage Mode or his Beast Mode(well at least his new one). Sasuke doesn't even know about the Rennigan. So from the get go Sasuke has to adapt to Naruto's abilities. Then again, Sasuke will control the ground battle with Amateratsu since he can control it and shape it. Hand to hand with Sasuke will not be a good idea in Naruto's case because the back lash from using Amateratsu is gone.

If they were to fight on equal knowledge of each other then I think Sasuke could take the fight. Only because Naruto is a idiot and likes to burn up chakara like crazy. It's been proven with the fight between Naruto/Bee vs Nagato that Naruto isn't as good as Sasuke at battle sense. Naruto didn't even forgot how to counter the dog summon.

We probably will never know truly since there might be some twist with their final battle. For instance, Naruto could talk Sasuke into helping him defeat Tobi or even both of them could die(Naruto's plan maybe). Seriously though, if Naruto fights Sasuke in terms of battle then I think he could really beat Sasuke. However, knowing Naruto he would probably be too focused trying to save his friend and not want to hurt him as much. Much different than when they fought at the Valley of the End in the original. Both have grown much stronger and have incredible feats, so its really hard to say just looking at those alone. Its all up to plot.

And I agree...Not saying that Sasuke wouldn't go all out and not scratch Naruto....but his chances of winning dropped considerably the more he fought with Tobi. He has more than enough knowledge to avoid getting caught in MS techs....the harder part lies in will he apply it. Shikamaru told Naruto once that "Knowing what to do and actually doing it are 2 seperate things."

Sasuke is stronger as of now...naruto will level up one final time then naruto wins...either one of them can "destroy" the other...both will have battle scars from there fight..no one wins easily..My prediction...is sasuke does one final good deed before he dies and thanks naruto...huge tear jerker coming in the end..
