seriously though Sakura is better then Hinata

weather it be fighting or personality yes I said it personality all because of one think

Hinata is a creepy mofo, she stares at Naruto from a distance and doesn't really contribute anything to the story line other then blushing at the sight of Naruto.

Ok ok now people are going wtf is wrong with you what about during the time when Hinata fought pain

what happened after that, that's right she almost died and how dare a common hyuuga stand in the way of the new sage of 6 paths, at least Sakura knew to stay out of the way.

and what good did it do Naruto, it caused him to go berserk and become a wild animal before his dad Minato stepped in. If it wasn't for Minato the full kyuubi would have been released right there and then.

Don't say that the series would have been over if it wasn't because of hinata and naruto would have never met Minato.
So STFU thank you

I'm gonna go ahead and say that Sakura and Hinata are both OK. But... I like Hinata better. I hate Sakura. With a. Burning. Passion.

Not a Fan boy of many but I am a Naruxhina fan boy. So this is bias but Hinata is better in eave way but healing then Sakura. If she took the time she would be better at healing also.

I am still on Hinata side but to be fair Sakura gets on the job training healing people. She is not a fighter and the truth is that’s ok because she not good at it any ways. Like the 5th she is a healer. The 5th is also a protector and pretty uber at that but if she had to fight to save the village then they are all doomed.

Would this thread die already lol Personality wise Hinata is better because she wasn't shallow or naive like Sakura was in the begining (I admit Sakura has grown somewhat during Shippuden but not compared to Hinata) Fighting I still think HInata will win because of her gentlefist and byakugan. What does Sakura have? Medical Ninjutsu and has shown no spectacular feat in any other area. Her speed is Jonin level max

The fighting style of the entire Huga clan requires immense speed, Naruto's fight against Neji illustrates that. The only way Naruto was finally able to defeat Neji was to suprise him from a blind spot and that was only after Neji let down his guard. Hinata's fighting style uses flexibility as well as great speed. I think it is fairly safe to conclude that someone who is a specialist in a style like that would be faster and better able to both dodge and deliver hits than someone who isn't. Those of you claiming Sakura would just hit the ground and keep Hinata at bay... how many of those would she have chakra for? Just a guess but I'd imagine that would take quite a bit otherwise you'd see it being used all the time. Well that and it would be kinda boring storyline element. Hinata would either get in first and deliver strikes to Sakura's chakra network or bide her time and wait for Sakura to wear herself out with useless strikes to the ground. Hinata would easily be able to see the build up in chakra required for that as well. I can't see where Sakura would stand a chance.

I like Sakura more than Hinata, but I'm going to give my opinion here.

In terms of taijutsu and fighting styles, Hinata has the advantage. Also, Hinata has better field of vision with the Byuakugan. In terms of countering/dodging and strategy Sakura is better in that area. Now Im not saying that shes on the same level as Shikamaru's or Neji's IQ but you have to admit that she can come up with some pretty good battle thinking.

You also have to take into consideration that they're two different people. So saying one is better than the other overall really is not a fair thing to say in my opinion. That would be like saying that to an actual girl and that would be horrible.

lol reason* my bad
your lying to urself, you just said how she was useless in your first post
and now your telling me she isnt?
extemely close??? wahh? she didnt lay a finger on pein, and she was out from the first push
ya ok, everyone in konohas just gonna stand there watching as pein drags naruto out of the village..
and sakura isnt willing to save sasuke from the darkness?
o_O your telling me, some shy girl saved the whole world by getting in a battle field and getting beaten the crap out of?

Yes, she was extremely close. It was breaking the chakra rods that mattered, not defeating Pein.

Perhaps Hinata isn't the type suited for ninja lovers because she is a good girl before being a good ninja. It's easy to imagine her as a wife or mother rather than Sakura. Actually Hinata it quite matured to make and protect a love and family but Sakura has way to go to be matured. On the other hand, Sakura is a ninja. I can imagine her hunting missing nins easily!
And about the fighting pain, ways of love and wisdom are different. It's like to say:"I'll die here before you if I can't save you, because I can't see your death." It's what Sakura did for Sasuke as well. She has no chance to kill Sasuke but she tried it and Naruto had to save her because he couldn't let anyone else touch her love.
About letting kyuubi out, than risk was necessary for Naruto to grew up and step to another level of understanding. Just after meeting his father he could talk to pain and convince him. So we can say it's because of Hinata's act that pain returned lives of konoha villagers. Something like this has happened in old chapters; when Jiraya wanted to teach Naruto to use his orange chakra and summon a big toad, he pushed him off a dangerous cliff. Naruto could die and the konoha would have a real problem with loosing it's biju or hunting it again which would kill many people. But Naruto survived and learned summoning. I think that's kishi's favorite way.
