I like Sakura more than Hinata, but I'm going to give my opinion here.

In terms of taijutsu and fighting styles, Hinata has the advantage. Also, Hinata has better field of vision with the Byuakugan. In terms of countering/dodging and strategy Sakura is better in that area. Now Im not saying that shes on the same level as Shikamaru's or Neji's IQ but you have to admit that she can come up with some pretty good battle thinking.

You also have to take into consideration that they're two different people. So saying one is better than the other overall really is not a fair thing to say in my opinion. That would be like saying that to an actual girl and that would be horrible.

Might be horrible but it is the truthU_U and i haven't seen sakura do any good battle thinking,so please tell me when did she do it

Perhaps Hinata isn't the type suited for ninja lovers because she is a good girl before being a good ninja. It's easy to imagine her as a wife or mother rather than Sakura. Actually Hinata it quite matured to make and protect a love and family but Sakura has way to go to be matured. On the other hand, Sakura is a ninja. I can imagine her hunting missing nins easily!
And about the fighting pain, ways of love and wisdom are different. It's like to say:"I'll die here before you if I can't save you, because I can't see your death." It's what Sakura did for Sasuke as well. She has no chance to kill Sasuke but she tried it and Naruto had to save her because he couldn't let anyone else touch her love.
About letting kyuubi out, than risk was necessary for Naruto to grew up and step to another level of understanding. Just after meeting his father he could talk to pain and convince him. So we can say it's because of Hinata's act that pain returned lives of konoha villagers. Something like this has happened in old chapters; when Jiraya wanted to teach Naruto to use his orange chakra and summon a big toad, he pushed him off a dangerous cliff. Naruto could die and the konoha would have a real problem with loosing it's biju or hunting it again which would kill many people. But Naruto survived and learned summoning. I think that's kishi's favorite way.

Can't agree, Sooner or later Naruto will become berserk by any other chance, so at list she tried to hepl him. Meanwhile Sakura also caused a lot of troubles. who is better this way? from a neutral view point, neither of them.

Now let's speak about their development...

Hinata in part 1 was a weak Hyuuga, who lacks courage and skills. thanks to Naruto she was able to stand up for herself and became stronger. she was shown to use gentle fist on a basic level.

Sakura in part 1 was a weak cry baby, who hadn't posses any speciality only her excellent chakra control. her tai and ninjutsu was poor and didn't show any progress.

Hinata in part 2 wasn't showed much until the Pain Arc. She has her own jutsu (Twin Lion Fists) and she is capable of using Air Palm. She could also fight side by side with Neji what is pointing out she progressed more than we could imagine.

Sakura in part 2 was showed much (being a main character...). she learned Tsunade's brute strength and a lot of healing jutsus. she learned taijutsu to avoid incoming attacks, however her attacks are too simple and straight forward which is implies she was only trained to dodge and defend herself. her speed is improved too.

Now let's speak about who can do what...

Hinata could attack from a distance with air palm, could use advanced Hyuuga taijutsu and also her Twin Lion Fists (what we don't know how strong is).

Sakura could attack from a distance if she hits the ground and she could use her brute strength in close combat. She also could use her healing abilities and poisons.

Now let's speak about their possible abilities...

Sakura: none... she showed everything she has against Sasori

Hinata: Hyuuga style jutsus. rotation, 32/64 palms, other unknown jyuuken techniques...

Now let's speak about their speed, etc...

Sakura showed greater speed compared to part 1, she is smarter than she was before and she could punch/kick stronger (because of her chakra control)

Hinata showed greater speed compared to part 1, she is definetly punch/kick stronger and she developed her byakugan immensely.

Now let's speak about what we don't know about them...

we don't know if Sakura could use genjutsu. we don't know if she can use other techniques beside healing and brute strength.

we don't know how smart Hinata is, how many jutsus she has and at all how strong she is...

Now this is the final paragraph...

you say Sakura punch the ground and make Hinata lose balance. I say Hinata jumps in the air.
you say Sakura punch Hinata in the face, I say Hinata deflects it and close some chakra points or counter attack and do some serious damage to Sakura's inner organs.
you say Sakura uses her brain, I say Hinata use her byakugan.
you say Sakura uses poison, I say Hinata uses Air Palm.

there are a lot of pro and contra and no one knows who is stronger, better, smarter, etc... we are comparing a main character to a side character, a medical ninja to a close combat ninja. and also there are a lot of unknown factors here...

personally I prefer Hinata more. she has a better personality, she has more capabilities and all in all she is more like a main character. BUT I don't say Sakura is useless, weaker or worse than Hinata. why? simple. they have different personalities, jutsus and role.

BUT what Sakura did? went against Sasuke all by herself and if Karin wasn't there she would turn against the village as Sasuke did.

now whos being biased? sakura came there with killing intent, and sasuke...was almost like "omfg what am i doing?". he was all like "mwahahaha imma kill you" with naruto and kakashi but not sakura.

re read her battle with ino. kakashi said "when in the hell did she get THIS strong?" so obviously sakura was doing secret training. and you forget hinata has her hax bloodline but sakura is JUST A NORMAL GIRL. she has no genetic cheat codes and no special talent for battle like kakashi and minato had. she worked her way up from nothing with hard work.

Sakura: none... she showed everything she has against Sasori

really? she showed her genius for working with poisons before the sasori fight, she showed her earthquake summonign in the kakashi fight, and she showed her immense cuninng and intelligence in the neji zetsu "fight". she also showed her immense chakra reserves in the war.

we don't know if she can use other techniques beside healing and brute strength.

well first of all theres clone techniques, theres substitution that no one uses anymore in part 2 but is still useful, theres inner sakura who threw off inos jutsu and could break her out of genjutsu, theres use of poison gas bombs, theres accurate kunai throwing (she saved narutos life by stopping his fall with a perfectly accurate kunai throw. i dont think even tenten could have done it better.)theres cherry blossom blast (being able to take almost anything out with one hit), and trickery and intelligence (how she defeated third kazekage).

sakura loves naruto too and i mean really loves him, not just puppy worship. hinata doesnt KNOW naruto. she just watched him like a stalker and decided that is love. sakura cared so much for sasuke that she almost did die trying to save him and went to the ends of the earth to try and bring him back alongside naruto. hinata has never even tried to help naruto with sasuke.

and its a pretty shitty reason to use. naruto really wasnt as good as sasuek in the academy. in fact its pathetic that hinata liked the failure class clown who doesnt even like her. whereas sasuke deep down showed signs of affection and care for sakura. even now i think he cares.
when kakashi and naruto show up hes all like "MWAHAHAAH IMA KILL YOU". when sakura shows up hes like ":/" and when she looks at his chidori, his eyes widen as if to say "omfg what am i doing? dont look at me!". hes never had any problems killing face to face but he doesnt want sakura to see him for some reason.
