I wasn't trying to justify anything~ Albeit, it is incorrect to say he "f*cked up*, is what I think, but who am I but another reader:shrug:
Let's end it here, I don't really want to talk about murder, that's not really sociably acceptableU_U Thanks for answering with such enthusiasm though!;)
I know, I know. My bad. That was my Inheritance-anger speaking :D And I wasn't talking about murdering him. More like executing (as you know, such law exists in some states of USA)... His crime is fitting. Case closed! :nexus:

Was that not obvious from all our other statements?

It was an overall enjoyable book. But the real fans and readers of the book were highly upset that he couldnt come up with anything better than to leave forever. Its crap IMO. He could have done it differently...the whole "we choose are paths, they are not chosen for us" type deal instead of the its a phrophecy so it must happen harry potter crap.

I'm all for the prophecy, but only if it's a good one. If anyone has read "Sword of Truth" series it gives quite good insight in a world driven by prophecies (to some extent) - there are multiple prophecies which come, or don't come true due to various actions of characters included in prophecy. It's something like this: you can try to fulfill the prophecy and if you do it right everything will happen as the prophecy says it will, or you can choose another prophecy that you find more fitting or you can even choose no prophecy at all and do it all your way. That should kinda be the same thing with Eragon's choice, yet he, like an idiot he is, chose to go away forever believing that everything is set in stone once someone utters damn prophecy. Due to that crappy ending I'm quite confident that I won't reread the series (since I already know about the crappy ending and I don't need any reminding about it).

I am gonna get this book tommorow i am so PUMPED!!!!
Im looking to read half of it in the first few hours =D then re read it before i go back to school
Finish the book in a solitary place, otherwise you'll risk scaring and creeping people out while you're ripping the book in pieces, while crying tears of blood-red rage. UNLESS, you're as I was at then; "meh, I understand, no need to go berserk over it, it's how things are~". You'll just fell a tear or two, then move on with a great feeling!

Since you are on that part here are instruction for staying happy about the book:
1) Immediately stop reading!
2) Imagine the best possible ending of the book with best possible explanation. Done? Ok. To the next step...
3) Ask someone to burn the book even if you adamantly refuse to give him the book afterwards. Tell that person to burn it no matter what you do.
If you've done everything as instructed you will be happy, for ignorance truly is a blessing, my friend. Since another person burned the book you will be angry at him/her; since everything was going well in the book you have no reason to believe whatsoever that something damn retarded is going happen so you will be quite confident that everything ends well; no one will get hit by flying book as it will be all gone into ashes.
