Remember in the fight with kimimaru Gaara said he can crush the hardest minerals in the ground and mix it with his sand and gold constitutes the hard minerals in the ground.

The fused gold on the jokey boy's body makes it hard for it to move and conducts the heat away. The sand on the other hand CAN hold the jokey boy and the hail on the sand also cools the jokey boy down. By the way who do YOU think is going to win?

Eing? I'm not talking about that...When Gaara caught Jokey Boy using a sand clon he stopped it when it was about to explode.He used gold sand because of course gold conducts heat better. However,normal sand can do it too.I'm not talking about if his sand can hold jokey boy.

When the Jokey boy explodes it releases water vapour into the sky which then precipitates into hail and falls on the sand.

We cannot say for certain if Gaara can control gold or not. Use another point to make ur argument.
You are clearly one-sided to too high a degree.
Gaara's defenses did crumble against the Mizukage, so we can't assume that Gaara can just defend against him. Another flawed point.
Minerals in the soils would not melt onto the Jokey-Boy and as such would be of no use against it. He required the gold and if it isn't about, don't use it in ur argument.

How am I annoying? Whatever.I have to say you are very annoying, but let me give you a scenario of the fight.
1. Gaara meets the mizukage they exchange blows and try to analyse each other.
2.Gaara overwhelms the mizukage with his attacks and is forced to summon his clam.
3.Off course when they were exchanging blows the mizukage dodged in order not to get hurt.
4. The clam casts the genjutsu and Gaaras attacks prove futile.
5.Gaara connects the clam to the genjutsu and places sand in all directions and senses the clam.
6.You might be wondering what the mizukage is doing all this time. He is busy using techniques that cannot pass gaaras defense.
7.Gaara uses sand to pull the clam into the ground and crushes it.
8.The genjutsu is dispelled and Gaara catches the mizukage with a sand pyramid.
9.The mizukage escapes using the Jokey boy and becomes weak.
10. Since there is no gold on the earth Gaara uses gold that is in the earth and uses it to stop the jokeyboy.
11.He senses the mizukage and traps him again with the pyramid of sand.
12.Gaara gives him a befitting DESERT FUNERAL or alternatively gaara SEALS HIM.
13.If after all this you do not agree then i am afraid i cannot help you.

6. Techniques that CANT? pass gaara's defense? Its shown in the manga that mizukage's attacks could break gaara's defense. He even claims that his sand is no match for his oily water. I dont think he's one to bluff seeing as to how he admits if an opponent is powerful or not. Read the chapter next time.
