[Discussion] Future of aikoji kuzan

!!SPOILERS ALERT!!

Although this was very sad for aikoji lose to akainu but again it was because of superiority of logia type as lava>ice.I didn't expected him to leave marine.
Now , marines have lost one of the best marine they had.I wonder what he is gonna do
IMO his most possible future would be as revolutionary....and with dragon he can enforce his own sense of justice.
What do you think guys?

No, We have come to know that anyone with higher bounty or higher level than Luffy Will probably not join SH. Like Jinbei Refused. Akoiji will be a BIG Power up for whole team, But He is far superior to Luffy and if He won't work under akainu, He won't work for Luffy as a Crew mate.

Revolutionary Army is probably a better fit than the Straw Hats. Maybe this whole situation changed his perspective and he'll view the World Government as too tyrannical.

Either way I wish we got to see him against Akainu. Fight must have been awesome. xd

can somebody explain me something...in the manga it says "aokiji was strongly against akainu becoming a general" but aokiji was the one nomimated to be the general, why would he be against that if it wasn't gonna happen :s

Because I guess Akainu couldn't accept it and Aokiji agreed on a duel for the position.. although the leaders of the WG all approved of Aokiji ~_~ I don't get it.

and aokiji don't want that damned sakazuki to become fleet admiral since he's ruthless action in battlefield

He challenged Akainu for the position, since he thought Akainu wasn't right for the position. After losing the fight, there was no way Aokiji could serve under a person he does not acknowledge as his leader.

He left the Marines, meaning he quit his job. Early retirement. Simple as that.
He did not turn criminal, he quit like Sengoku and Garp. I don't see why he would want to go up against the very Marines he was a part of, simply because he does not acknowledge the new leader. It's not like he defected from the Marines and turned traitor.

Aokiji does not agree with Akainus sense of justice, but he knows its still justice. Akainu would have to do something REALLY outrageous as Fleet Admiral for Aokiji to join a pirate crew or Revolutionary Army in order to go up against Akainu and the government.

My thoughts exactly. I love the way things turned out. Him joining Dragon would be perfect imo.
A fight that lasted 10 days?! 10 days of magma and ice flying everywhere?!
Damn.

And its not like hes just gonna quit the Marines and do nothing.

What kind of justice are you talking about? Akainu killing innocent people(Ohara incident) or World Government's order to raze down the whole island just to cover up their asses?

Actually, Ao Kiji started to doubt WG since the Ohara incident and I can see him going against them if he ever learns the truth. He let Nico Robin and Straw Hats go because he believed they would reveal the truth to him.

As far as I know RA is not exactly fighting marines, they just liberate countries that are enslaved or targeted by World Government, and slowly preparing for a world wide revolution.

It's a translation/manga mistake. Sengoku nominated AoKiji, World Government approved Akainu.

Sengeku nominated aikoji,and higher UPS nominated akainu, since aikoji knew the way of doing things of akainu,he opposed for akainu to be general.he didn't do it because he wanted it but he did it because he knew akainu is too much strict and always overdo in name of justice,he don't hesitate even if innocent lives are involved.
Aikoji believed if akainu became general he would wreck the whole justice system, so that's why he stood against him and sadly, lost. Akainu showed sympathy and let him be alive. aikoji couldn't accept working under akainu's way of justice and left the navy.
I guess this is what happened.
