(Konoha-Ryū: Yanagi) -Leaf Ninja Art: Willow
Pretty cool considering I just started learning kenjutsu xD
Strong points
- VERY great distraction
- At first it can be very hard to tell its a genjutsu technique
Weak points
- I can't think of a weakness for this one aside from its liberty. I wish we could play around more with the illusion. But for this one the range isn't a weak point because we could follow it up with a kenjutsu attack since we are using the sword.
- Its a low ranked genjutsu so if I try to do a short range attack with my sword, I could possibly get nagashi'd while the target is trying to escape the genjutsu >_>
Combinations-strategies With this technique I would definitely follow it up with a kenjutsu attack, or a simply sword attack combination. One the sword is waved back and forth and the opponent is put into the genjutsu I would side step behind him and perform a horizantal slash through his back. Now seeing as the opponent knows I already have a sword in hand and that he was placed in a genjutsu due to the hands. He will be reacting very quickly so what ever I have planned has to be fast.

(Genjutsu: Ingemame Ketsugō sakkaku) - Illusion Technique String Bean Binding Illusion
Strong points
- Seems like a pretty long genjutsu and by that I mean a few seconds xD
-
Weak points
- Its very easily noticed as a genjutsu
- The range in which it can be performed
Combinations-strategies I feel like the opponent would try and use a lighting technique to get out of this "binding" so I would follow it up by summoning a large amount of water above the targets head 10 meters above. And then possibly spike him from below as he is dealing with the water.

(Genjutsu: Kahen Dizorubu) - Illusion Technique: Flower Petal Dissolve
Strong points
- A good illusion to perform a sneak attack
- Pretty straight forward and simple
Weak points
- Sakura pedals is highely known for genjutsus, so it would easily be noticed
- The range in which it can be performed
Combinations-strategies For this one I would use (Bakuchi Tori Kuzu Oujou) – Gambling Bird Arrowroot Death. By bolting towards the target, I then hit him with my sword's handle causing him to enter a confused-like state due to the impact. I then deliver a few kicks all aimed at his abdomen, sending him flying into the air. (slightly not high up into the air upward) I then bolt towards his far off location where we both will meet. I would finish it off by delivering a final punch knocking him into the ground or a nearby tree.
Question - I believe we talked about this but I would just like to make sure 100%. Kai can release up to B rank genjutsu correct? And a technique like nagashi would a release a genjutsu up to its rank? So A?
