Ichigo didn't literally defeat Aizen, he just weakened him enough so that Urahara's kido would work. He was losing his shinigami powers after he used it and Aizen wasn't exactly defeated yet, so if Urahara didn't come Ichigo may have been defeated. ​

I would say Ichigo is on about the level of meh... Byakuya/Kenpachi, and at the very most Shunsui. Doubt he can beat Yamamato he still has ways to go. U_U

Seriously guys? All of the people who say Ichigo isn't stronger than Yamamoto really need to re-watch some episodes.. like the one where Ichigo is walking back with Unahana to the Soul Society.. she even says "wow I thought he was fully restored because he is already at captain level, but he is only at half his strength!" and that was before he even evolved during his fight with Aizen.. and that form that he was in while against Aizen.. Yamamoto cannot compare, Wonderweiss was being used BEFORE Aizen's 3 transformations.. seriously guys.. you leave out this much stuff.. it is obvious that Ichigo is stronger, very obvious.

Can Ichigo use Final Getsuga whenever he wants? No, he can't. That's a one time thing that costs him all his powers. His real constant level of power is on par with the likes of Byakuya and Kenpachi.

Don't mistake Ichigo's last resort attack - one that costs him all his powers - as his base strength.

Wonderweiss was made specifically to seal away the power of Yama-jii's zanpakuto, and besides that was still pretty strong. Without using his zanpakuto Yamamoto took Wonderweiss' attacks without flinching and then disintegrated his body with his bare hands. Then, realizing that Wonderweiss was essentially a bomb ready to release the absorbed power from his zanpakuto, he smothered it with his own body. The reason he did this was because the released attack would have wiped out everyone in the immediate area, destroyed the barrier, and destroyed an area many times the size of kurakura town.

So in summary, a small fraction of the absorbed power from his SHIKAI, would have destroyed everything had he not smothered it with his own body.

And that still wasn't enough to stop him.

So no, Ichigo was not stronger than Yamamoto at any point.

lol funny he was suprised that someone at ichigo level could stop it lol ichigo was at that same level when he fought aizen the first time an wat happen he got his ass beat but yamamoto an the other hand aizen had to create wonderwiess 4 him i wonder y? ill let u answers that.
