alright!Wellllll....I know that the Doton is effect against Suiton somehow, and weak against Raiton. hmmm, I thought it was strong against Fuuton too right?
well anyway. Normally I would use earth defensively to block oncoming attacks, or to avoid attacks by going underground. The properties....Welll, Liiike, you see. Its hard...but can be soft. haha. well thats what I know of Doton, havent run into many who use doton.

Well how about we think of it like this.
Earth is a solid composed of what? Obviously rocks and soil from the planet itself. But what happens when you pour a cup of water into some soil? It gets soaked up.
When I RP I use that a one of the many forms that earth is stronger than water, not only does it soak up water but it brings more of a solid presence than a liquid such as water can do making it highly effective in defensive purposes. When your lookignto get physical in battle earth is to go and is one of my favorites.
Can you give me and example of how eaeth can be used with another element?

Yes, youre right about that. Im sure youll learn many ways to use combos to your advantage once you learn some yourself.

Lukaria steps into the hole and sits down and begins concentrating on her chakras and the earth around her. as an hour goes by, she begins to feel the change to her chakra flow. And begins to feel herself become strong like the earth.

Lukaria, now with the entire earth covering her, after a few hours she begins to feel more like the earth around her, and also begins to feel familiar with the new earth chakra that she has developed.
Lukaria puts her hand on the ground and sends her chakra into the earth, just as she felt she was on with the earth before, she rises her hands up..as she does, two mounds of dirt come up following her hands..

Good, now try and mold these two chunks into something small like a dagger and a shield.
Starts making clumps of dirt fall off, and with her chakra, starts molding the dirt in her left into a circular shape, then hardening it. On the other hand same way she changed the shape of the dirt, she changes the shape into a pointy object. She then hardens the edge ant tip with her chakra and forms it into a dagger.

Dig into the ground and tunnel your way under my clones feet and forcefully drag him under to where only his head is shown.

Lukaria channels her new found earth chakras into her legs and arms. She then quickly begins digging underneath the earth...
Lukaria:"Its dark down here....o_o"
Lukaria focuses her chakra in the earth and begins to sense the clone's postition above her, she then continues burrowing until she's right underneath, she then uses her strength to pull down the clone into ground.
Lukaria:" A bit more practice and Im good to go!"
for the next few hours, lukaria practices the technique and eventually masters it,
Lukaria:"PHEW!! done sensei!"

I dont believe you can sense whats going on above you with this particular technique except for remembering where your opponent last was. There is a more reliable technique I will teach you soon that allows you to do that.

Use a small chunk of earth like before and use shape manipulation to shape it into a staff weapon that you can throw at my clone, impaling him.

She pulls her arms wide apart, with the dirt in the middle, she lets go with on hand, setting it down, with her now free hand she molds he dirt into a harden spear-like staff. She picks it up and throws it at the clone, implaing it.

Lukaria pours in more of her chakra into the earth in front of her, she then raises her hands to cause large rocks to rise up out of the ground around the clone..
Lukaria: "..Okay...Now.
She then clasps her hands together, making two huge rocks come out and smash the clone between them.
