*sigh* Women in Naruto

Okay, I've been hearing that all women in Naruto (or most of them) are useless and pathetic. This is completely wrong. Some of them might not be the best fighters, but they sure help in other ways and are by far better than the average chunin. I've heard people call Mei, Tsunade, Temari, Chiyo and Tayuya useless..I mean, seriously?

Everyone agrees with me, except ShinobiX, a troll who got banned.

Mei - Mizukage (automatically not pathetic or useless). Other than this, she has really good Lava Release techniques from what we have seen. She also helped land the first hit on Madara (alongside A) and is currently battling him.

Temari - often feared and called "the strongest kunoichi", helped Shikamaru when he couldn't defeat Tayuya and has very strong wind techniques. Really? Do you think most ninja could stand ground to her Great Sickle Weasel Technique? I think not.

Chiyo - second best medical ninja, best puppet specialist of the Sand, revived Gaara and defeated Sasori. Definitively not useless or pathetic.

I only wrote these brief explanations because I really find it hard to believe that people find these shinobi useless..the only two female characters that I can consider being a bit "useless" or "weak" in a 1v1 battle are Ino and Ten Ten. And even so, they each have their specific purposes. Nobody is better at handling, mastering and transporting weapons than Ten Ten. Ino, well, without her the Ino-Shika-Cho trio would never work.

i think you shouldnt have made this, now another member is gonna do something like "whats with all the women threads?" or "stop the gender threads" and then its gonna spiral into one big chain of threads, like versus threads or troll threads

I agree except for with the Moegi part. Well maybe not beacuse she hasn't displayed any.......... wait she supports Konohamaru. She's not useless. Every woman plays a role in Naruto. No matter if they don't get their "Shine" in battle or in the Manga. +reps though becuase some people don't understand how inportant some of the women are.

The Mizukage has been looking powerful during the Madara fight, even Madara commented on her Lava jutsu and the damage it would have caused him. A telling statement if there ever was any.

As for the other females, they have already demonstrated their pedegree in the past. Chiyo taking on an Akatsuki member despite being a very old woman who really should have no place on a battlefield. Temari, powerful yet I don't think we've even seen the best of her yet. I'm not sure if we will get to see her go all out again, but I think she has plenty left to offer.

Just because someone is OP or stronger doesn't make the other person useless.
Temari might seem useless when compared to Gaara or Kankuro.
But then again, Kiba and Shino seem useless when compared to Temari.

She did participate well and showed a definite increase in maturity (she has always been reasonably mature, beside her initial thing for Sasuke) as well as an increase in battle ability. Still a pivotal part of Ino-Shika-Cho.

Yeah but c'mon, Moegi's role (at least now) is very unimportant, it's as important as the Ramen Guy's assistant. But yeah, other than that, thanks for agreeing! Yes, most people don't understand.

Women in Naruto in one way or another are reliant on men.
In no sense are they all inferior in terms of strength, agility etc, but they're weaker in a sense that men in Naruto seem to be more well grounded, and thus, advantageous in almost all aspects.

Yea, Ino deserves more, Asuma told her "Never lose to Sakura in anything: Medical Ninjutsu or Romance." I think we deserve to see more from her..

right now, most of them, are just a hindrance/almost no effect
