I tried to give you more rep, but I couldn't I like how your posts are well-said, non-targeting, and have proper grammar.

I think that Kishi has a tendency to put the women into more supportive roles, A.K.A. Tsunade being a medic-nin, Ino specializing in mind techniques, and Tenten specializing in ninja weapons.

I do think, though, that if they had a chance, they could show us what they can do.

I liked when Ino showed her stuff by protecting Chouji and then held off Asuma with taijutsu in someone else's body, all while talking sense into Chouji. I was impressed.

Sadly I would have to say that generally speaking, anime does make girls out to be totally useless tools who just scream like little girls.

Naruto,although it is a bit, isn't really an exeption. In most Manga and Anime women can get angry and hit a male but when it comes down to it, the men are the ones we watch it for and the ones who do 90% of the fighting. I don't mean the pre-fight fighting cause anyone can go in and get an ass kicking, it just so happens that mosta the time girls are there to be beaten and need saving.
Bar few women in the show, they are not there to take the main stage and win and fight. Women who have had a small spotlight are pretty much useless now, when you think of naruto,Sasuke and Madara etc....just my opinion. Be nice if the chicks had a bigger part and not just the boobs.

Well, at least for Temari, she's come in and saved a male (Shikamaru) in a fight.
Chiyo, is definitely a 1v1 fighter and she alongside Sakura beat Sasori.
Tsunade has yet had her main fight, she's currently in the Madara one (which I hope gets a spotlight) But I'm sure Tsunade doesn't need saving in a fight.
We just recently got introduced to Mei, and so far she's very good! She helped land the first hit on Madara and is currently on battle (again, I hope she gets a spotlight)

But yes, women in Naruto need more solo fighting, but they are not useless or pathetic.

Bold: This is wrong my friend lol I can give you a list of MANY animes that put girls as badass! hahaha

Nah, that's just in Naruto. And to a lesser extend, Bleach (only Orihime, but she's not an actual fighter so...). I dare you to bring me a girl who is useless and not at all badass in, for example, One Piece. Or Fairy Tail. Or High School Of The Dead. Or Full Metal Alchemist (as a mechanic, Winry doesn't count, she's not a fighter just a civilian).

you forgot Sakura and Hinata and Shizune! i have seen hatethreads on these characters and none of them are useless...well idk how effective shizune would be fighting wise but id love to have her there to heal me lol
