Itachi and nagato are at the same level

I was thinking to myself, wow this dude brings up valid points until i read the part highlighted.

Itachi hasnt bee tested so far. He has defeated the majority of his opponents with genjutsu and this varies. Secondly he has many techs up his sleeves, we only saw him susano against sasuke and nagato, he is my no means a spammer.

Thirdly all his fights are out of this world. Cannot wait to see his next fight

I dunno, that last lil part is just my opinion on things, in a high stakes battle it's Sasanoo, Tsukiyomi, Amaterasu, Totsuka, rinse and repeat.

I'll admit I'm ever so slightly a lil biased because due to certain ppl I no longer have any patience for anything Itachi, his best fight to me was the Sasuke one, but other than that I've not been amused.

No, Nagato is stronger
Itachi would have died from Planetary Devastation if not for Bee and Naruto.
-Totuga blade wouldn't seal a jutsu, from all we've seen it will only seal souls once it has impaled something. When it was cutting up Oro's serpent heads it didn't seal them nor any of the rocks it hit. The only times it did seal something was an opponent's soul after being impaled.
-Susanoo doesn't move, Itachi would have been sucked up into the attack
-I doubt Yasaka Magatama is as strong as a Tail Beast Bomb, even that couldn't even destroy PD during the Pain fight. If YM was as strong as a TBB, he wouldn't have enough chakra to do multiple.
-Itachi wouldn't have enough time or chakra to attempt multiple, even so, there is no guarantee PD would be destroyed, unless you make very generous assumptions.
-Even if Susanoo went up with him, the debris could crush him from under Susanoo, and even if it didn't, a shield won't protect you from being crushed by a gravitational weight.
-Even if Itachi survives PD, he'll not only be exhausted physically, he will also have to survive the fall while at the same time not be crushed by any huge falling debris. Keep in mind Nagato will still be there ready to fight.

Nagato doesn't use CT immediately, it's his trump card, as we saw when he fought against Naruto. So Itachi has time to defeat him, before he uses CT and Itachi's Tsukiyomi is big problem to Nagato.

but the sword could be pushed away with shinra tensei and then chibaku tensei would pull Itachi towards the black sphere, also even if Itachi tries to go for round 2 with the sword and attack Nagato with it all the rocks and objects flying around will make it harder plus the strong gravitational pull will direct all attack to the chibaku Tensei. And even if he gets through all of these objects Nagato can use animal summons has well has his recharged shinra tensei against itachi sword.

High stake battle?. Even against sasuke he couldve beaten him without revealing his trump cards.

Also he has fought high stake battles and won with genjutsu alone. Anyway fair enough its your opinion
