Anyway the only thing nagato has on itachi is ninjutsu and chakra reserves. Itachi outclasses him in everything else.

Hmmm no I'm sorry Macho, I think you are wrong on this. There is no evidence to support that once you have the eyes you need anything else.

I'll actually elaborate on this, so you don't think I'm saying this just because I'm a hater.

Uzumakis are from the same lineage of Senju because they are a brother clan, well if you look at it this makes the Uzumakis as close to the Sage as the Senju's because genetic heritage works from origin forward and not the other way around. If the First had the the Sage's body, (which I have read many times in this forum although I could never find it stated on the Mangas), then an Uzumaki clansman from the same generation should be just as able (genetically and probabilistically speaking) to have the Sage's body as well.

Having established that I'd like to ask for where is it stated on the Mangas or anywhere else for that matter that once you have the eyes and the body you need anything else? The Uchiha's ancestor was granted with the eyes, the body (dna) was to the other son (Seju's and Uzumaki's ancestor). Then logically speaking if you have the eyes and get the dna you pretty much have it all, the same goes the other way around. The Uchiha's are borned with the eyes but ut doesn't take an Uchiha to use them or even to evolve them (as proven by Kakashi's MS) then the same should be applicable to Nagato. He had the body to begin with once he got the eyes the origin of those does not matter, the composition should not be weaker depending on the origin.

That said I must conclude that your formula and the result you are trying to imply are not only not logical but even wrong at a logical point of view.

As for saying that they are on the same level... Feats, abilities and overall power as well as durability are on Nagato's side, and he was shown to have all the features needed to counter all of Itachi's moves offensive and defensive apart from Tsukuyomi so a battle between them should rally weather or not Itachi would be able to effectively use his most powerful Genjutso and weather or not the Sage body and eyes would be able to withstand it. But all of that is a can of worms that I would not like to open over my self whatever I say I'll be called a fanboy so I will simply not say anything.

Nagato's FIREPOWER IS AT ANOTHER WHOLE LEVEL.

Picture this ,edo madara have the complete rinnegan since because he have the sharingan skill and the rinnegan skill.Edo madara give nagato the rinnegan .Nagato is clan the uzumaki clan is a cousin of senju decendent (he not an uchiha,there fore he donot have the full powerful of the rinnegan.
Itachi on the other hand is an uchiha which donot have the rinnegan abilities but portion of it abilities since the complete rinnegan consist of the sharingan ability

EDO MADARA rinegan (complete rinnegan )= itachi MS + Nagato rinnegan
