sasuke's 1T was able to track haku who was moving so fast that it appeared they were standing still, sasuke's 3T was easily predicting naruto's movements.
yeah, and deidara was clearly seen. it wasn't like he only saw glimps of deidara because he was moving so fast, he was clearly having trouble controlling it. later in the manga, he was able to track a speeding missile and warp it.
A MS with it's only power to scope a target, missing a flying object, and a MS that uses Amaterasu gives me the conclusion that Itachi's eye(s) is not going to detect Guy's movement in his 8-gate's. But that's just me..
how does it give you that conclusion? if you read the manga you can clearly see that kakashi without MS was keeping sight on deidara, it was his dimension warping tech that was hard to control, it had nothing to do with deidara's speed. it's like trying to focus a powerful drill on a little hole, your hand will shake from the rumble of the drill, and you may not get it in easily, but the hole itself is not even moving. now someone who has never picked up a drill in their life may have trouble at first when trying this than a person who has done it for a while.
