Akatsuki was too strong

I feel the akatsuki are greatly underrated and i like backing strong, underrated characters.

If you guys have noticed no one has beaten an akatsuki member either by their own, without any info, the members effectively died by their own hands or they were greatly weakened.

Now im not trying to deduct kishi's thoughts nor am i trying to play the role of kishi, but i feel he intentionally did it this way. I believe kishi weakened the members one way or another in order for the victors win would seem legit.

Im going to explain what i mean.

Firstly shikamaru obviously wouldnt have beaten hidan without any info at all, but also by himself (it was a team effort). Kishi weakened hidan

Kakuzu. They knew of his abilities (apart from his hearts) and shikamaru came up with a strategy using his shodow mimic tech. Secondly, not only has he fought kakashi, choji and ino. They get back up in sai, yamato, naruto and sakura.

Even after kakuzu has been greatly weakened, he still held his own and even captured naruto who needed kakashi and yamato to rescue him;

Sasori. Kishi knew that sakura defeating sasori is bs and had to attach her to somebody and who else than another puppet user in chiyo

After with the help of chiyo, he still had to do justice to sasori by letting sasori poison, both sakura and chiyo

Even after, this still wasnt enough and somehow sakura kept an antidote prepared and in her pouch

Chiyo basically admitting that sasori couldve won that fight;

Kisame was also greatly weakened before his fight with gai. Samahada also preferred bee to him and disowned him.

After tanking the strongest attacks 7 gates gai had, he was then prisoned in yamato's mokouton, in which he had more than enough strength to break free

Not only was he outnumbered, he wasnt at his strongest and didnt have samahada. The only justice kishi could give him is for him to use his own technique to kill himself

Itachi and pein really need no explanation or manga chapters, will still do abit of explaining. Kishi knew that in order for sasuke 'victory' to make sense he weakened itachi, this being his illness, blindness and intention. Even after this sasuke still ddint beat him and he died due to his illness and 0 chakra reserve.

Pein ws also greatly weakened for naruto's victory to seem right. Firstly pein had fought countless shinobi's. Used shinra tensei on the village which had a great effect on his bodies especially deva realm. Naruto knew of his abilities. Even after all this naruto got captured. Deva path went toe to toe with the fox and caught it in chibaku tensei. He then used his last chakra to revive the people he had killed.

If you see the correlation between itachi and nagato. Both died because of their low chakra. Its their techniques that killed them. Also noticed that even before their fights they were greatly weakened, in itachi's case his illness and eyesight. In nagato's case his inability to walk.

Only sasuke has defeated an akatuski member not only at their strongest, but also without any info on them and even he had everything going his way. Basically he was the worst watch up for deidora.

He had the cm2 which allowed him to nullify deidora's long range advantage but also sharigan which allowed him to see the colour of chakra.

He not only faced a raiton user, which puts him at a great disadvantage he faced a genius who not only come up with a strategy, had a back up aswell in case his original strategy didnt work.

He had a way to escape diedora's most terrifying ninjutsu which cost him a valuable summoning

I felt like akatsuki members are greatly underrate even though i feel kishi weakened them for a reason. Most likely because he knew none of the people who they fought could win without akatsuki being at a disadvantage

only the plot defeated them

they were a group ranging from the highest of the high jounin level almost knocking on low kage level (Hidan) to the strongest of the strong Kage level (Nagato,Tobi and Itachi)

and we sae in the latest episodes how powerful the jinchuuriki were.

Kakuzu
I feel Kakashi could have gone longer and further in that fight if Ino and Chouji weren't there. Kakashi went into that fight without knowing of Kakuzu's abilities either. Kakashi read Kakuzu's Iron Skin technique on his own and countered with a Lightning-technique accordingly. So this first kill is all credited to him.

Also, the only reason he was caught by Kakuzu was because he intercepted the attacks coming at Ino and Chouji while they just stood around. He was forced to expend unnecessary chakra (a double Raikiri) to save them instead of planning and attacking with strategy. Kakuzu's elemental combination attacks would have posed a problem for Kakashi, but throughout the entire fight he was jumping and outmaneuvering the Masks' attacks without problems. It was only because Ino and Chouji were sitting ducks that Kakashi joined them to try to save them.

Not saying Kakashi could have walked away from the fight easily, but the fact that Ino and Chouji were with him I think was a very big distraction.



Deidara
This has been brought up countless times so forgive me for repeating. But Gaara was well on his way to fending off Deidara. Long-range fighter versus long-range fighter so that brought the battle to an even playing field. And the fact that they were fighting above Suna tremendously handicapped the fight for Gaara. Had they been somewhere else in the desert Gaara's focus would have been 100% on Deidara. Instead, he was forced to split his attention to protect the village.

Also we've seen the extent of Gaara's abilities from his battles in the war. Is it really so far fetched to say he could have won had he not been distracted?

Anyways, this can go either way. Totally debatable.

Even though i feel kakashi vs kakuzu can go either way, i feel kakuzu is favourite.

As for deidora vs gaara, ive said this many times that deidora was at a greater disadvantage.
