If MS is obtained by just losing someone close to you why is there only a few uchihas that have unlocked it?

i think it takes something else to unlock it also

but for most part i agree its a curse, the longer you have it, the worse the side effects of using it

As i said, many uchiha's have obtained it and tried to make its power permanent. Didnt you read the links i posted?

Kakashi didnt kill obito even if it was indirectly. The rock ninja used an earth technique that destroyed the cave. Kakashi didnt use chidori on anything

Again sasuke didnt kill itachi. He died from his illness and 0 chakra

Itachi said in that panel you just posted that he help Shisui erase himself after Danzo took one of his eyes.. meaning that Itachi helped kill Shisui of his own will.

Sasuke did kill Itachi, when he found out that Itachi was only protecting him, he realized that Itachi is his closes friend.. giving him MS.. so your info is flawed..

Im not denying that he was acting, but he also revealed alot of background about the ms and from we have seen somebody close to you must die. I think alot of people are confused about close.

Close doesnt mean you have to know them well, you have to have been extremely close. Liek brothers, (itachi-shisu, itachi-sasuke, obito-kakashi)

for my sake because I want to test my skills out on you

just because you have ms does not mean your gonna go blind. itachi clearly says if you over use the ms then you will risk going blind,thus losing the light within your eyes. you can have it and use it when you have nothing else you can do except reveal it in battle. or you can have it and never use it. just because you have it, doesn't mean anything, its all on how you use it.

like madara overused his ms, because he is arrogant and depended on his eyes. itachi on the other hand did not abuse his power, because he understood his power. madara did not understand his own power, so he became greedy and wanted his brothers eyes.

ms is unlocked when something truly tragic happens.

As i said in that same link itachi said he acted like the ideal older borther sasuke wanted, he then followed by talking about the potential. Clearly we know that he lied about trying to be an ideal brother to sasuke therefore we can safely assume that he lied about having the potential.

As we have seen you have to have the sharigan to activate the ms.
Lets say we take what itachi said about having the potential. This would somewhat limit people from activating it even if a very close person died, but as he said, quiet alot of people were running around with it trying to make its power permanent

Itachi said from the day you activate it the blindness process starts. Depending on how frequently you use it. We can then assume that itachi who activate it at 13 finally went blind around 21, 7 years.

Sasuke on the otherhand activated it at 16 and was going blind at 16. From what weve seen sasuke as soon as he got the ms spammed it, thats why he went blind quickly, therefore we can assume the same for madara.

Also from what weve seen from itachi he wasnt an ms spammer and thats why he was able to last that long

Has this happend to Kakashi aswell? his sight going blind etc... don't think so, you know why? I think that normal Uchiha MS rules don't count for Kakashi because he is not a true Uchiha by blood, Kisihi might use this as an excuse to pull a EMS for Kakashi out of his ass

The fact that the sharigan isnt taxing on an uchiha whilst its taxing on kakashi says it all.

Also whilst an uchiha can use the ms at will, kakashi uses it as a last resort because its side effects are alot more for him than a uchiha.

Fact is a non uchiha is more at a disadvantage than a uchiha therefore its safe to assume that kakashi will surely go blind even if he hardly uses it

What i believe he means is that sasuke has the potential to activate the sharigan. You have to activate the sharigan, before the ms and at that time sasuke didnt have the sharigan.

As for what fugaku said, he seemed to be trying to deter sasuke from such thoughts. He even wasnt sure whether to tell him about the sharigan.

But you said that when the Mangekyo Sharingan is awakend, the eye starts to go blind slowly. This hasn't happend to Kakashi at all, he has used and exhausted his MS more than 1 time.

This means that it doesn't affect Kakashi and thus means that Kakashi is not bound to the normal Mangekyo Sharingan rules like Itachi and Sasuke are, because Kakashi is not an Uchiha by blood and Itachi and Sasuke are.

right?
