[Spoilers] Final Challenge

Reading the latest manga made me realize something.... Oda has taken a lot of time talking about the 3 legendary weapons; pluton in alabasta, another pluton story during water 7/ enies lobby arc, the one is sky island and now, the mermaid princess under the ocean.

If you have watched one piece strong world episode 0 then it also talks about the golden lion shikki talking to roger about one of the legendary weapons.

So, I think that the reason Oda is taking so much time to explain about these weapons of mass destruction is because later on the story when straw hats are closer to one piece/raftel, somebody (IDk who or what) will gain access to these weapons and challenge the entire world and it will be up to the straw hats and maybe other pirates to fight and stop the weapons from being used.

This is just something I thought out... No hating please

Soo... what do you think of this and what are some of your thoughts on this?

which one would that be? If you mean the one underwater than, it was in the this week's manga. If you mean the one in skypia than, enel talked about it. Sorry, I don't know the specific manga chapter and am too busy to find it rite now. If you look at this thread by Boa Hancock, than you will know what I mean.

For someone to know about the existence of the weapons, they have to have the ability to read poneglyphs or they should have known the history of void century from governmental documents (which if existed). Having to know that Robin is the only survivor of Ohara incident, I am not sure if anyone from outside Ohara developed skills to read poneglyphs. If someone exists as such then your theory of them getting control over the weapons is possible. But we also know that the government is searching for these weapons and so I would say that the chance of your theory not working is greater than its working.

Yeah, it is possible in either way. I just remembered that crocodile knew about the ancient weapon. There might be others too in existence who know about them. The only thing that puts a hold on your theory is how many people can read poneglyphs and depict the locations of these weapons. So far we know only Robin to have these capabilities. We have to wait n C what Oda comes up with. Anyway interesting theory u got there (somewhat similar to POC3).
