Tobi is a Senju
Why do i say Tobi is a Senju? It is pretty obvious he is not an Uchia. How? (Sharingan always activated, never disaplayed any of the MS techninques like Susano or Ametatseru. Now he could very well have these abilities and decided not to use them) he never displayed anything specific to Uchia's.
He has a sharingan yes, but we all know that can be transplanted. He said in his fight with Konan that he is a Rikodou (person with both Uchia and Senju DNA). I believe that statement because he is able to use Izanagi (can only be done with both Uchia and Senju DNA. Konan said it herself, she was startled that he could possess such power). Now we are getting somewhere. He has both Uchia and Senju DNA. If he is not Uchia then what is he, surprise "SENJU".
It all makes perfect sense. People say that he is Obito (or has Obito's badly beaten body, or has Obito's eye's), but that is not the case. What abilities do we know an Uchia with the MS to possess?
1. Tsukuyomi
2. Ametatseru
3. Susano
It could be more but this is what we know of for sure.
What do we know a person that is not an Uchia, but has the MS possesses? We don't know. The only person who we know to possess the MS and is not an Uchia is Kakashi. And he has shown only one jitsu with it. Maybe that is what happens when a non Uchia obtains the MS. People believe it's Obito's eyes, I don't think it is.
One thing is for certain though. His eyes are more powerful than Kakashi's. Kakashi has to actually activate the MS to use his next dimension warp thingy. Tobi does it with a normal sharingan. So what does this mean? How can you use MS techniques with a normal S (i am getting tired of writing the word sharingan over and over so i will put a capital S instead. Furthermore, I am not even sure if i am spelling it right). Even the Uchia cant do MS techniques with a normal S. So who could be so strong that they could pull it off? A Senju.
Remember that the Senju are the strength (Sage of six paths) and the Uchia are the eyes. Maybe the Senju can wield the S better than the Uchia (I also believe this because Itachi told Naruto that Shisiu's eyes can be activated sooner with the blood of the Senju) but they simply don't have it. If i am right this would explain how he could see with it all the time and not become fatigued like Kakashi. His body does not reject the S or seem to be hindered by it in any way. The Senju are stronger than the Uchia (again they are the strength, its obvious).
If Tobi was an Uchia he would be able to awaken the Rinnengan by himself (he has both Senju and Uchia DNA whats there to stop him), just like Madara did. He has full knowledge of the process and full knowledge of what Uchia and Senju equals. Why did he not awaken the R (rinnengan) by himself? We know that an Uchia, when he adds Senju DNA to himself can awaken it. We do not know if a Senju, when he adds Uchia DNA to himself, can awaken it (of course a Senju would have to steal the S also).
Just a theory but let me know what you guys think

Tobi is most likely a Senju I think he might be SO6P cause he could do everything Tobi is and he is doing the war cause he is mad that there is no peace after what he did and then your Senju Uchiha argument would make sense.

I'm not going to say a word in relation to Obito
But I will say if Tobi was a senju, he would probably not need to be part white Zetsu. But since we know he is part White Zetsu, he is probably an Uchiha who needed the first's DNA from Zetsu

to me that makes no sense, he's always trying to prove the uchiha are superior to the senju and is always dissing the senju and wants to prove his belief by having sasuke capture naruto to prove the uchiha's dominance, plus if he was a senju there would be no need for him to have white zetsu's cell if he was already from the senju bloodline

I'd like to add on from my previous statement another possible theory. I stated that Tobi/Madara could possibly be Obito. And most people claim this as false, for how could Obito make it through what we thought to have been his death?
Well he couldn't have gotten out by himself. But what if someone found him? Say....Zetsu? Now I know a lot of people will instantly say "No". But think about it. It would explain how he got out. Would also explain why in the fight versus Danzo's bodygaurds, when he was touched by the Aburame, he broke off his arm and the contents of it looked a lot like something from Zetsu. (Watch the anime and you will see what i mean, Ep 208) It would also explain his knowledge of the ninja world. (Madara, the tailed beast, etc.) Because it's been stated that Zetsu records certain battles for later use.
This would also work for the people that think its the 10 tails human form/shell(I'm not sure what you call it), But we don't know much about Zetsu, maybe Zetsu is the 10 tails shell, using anything to become complete again. Finding Obito in his dire need of salvation, and cuts him a deal. (Something along the lines of what Orochimaru did when he'd seal people inside himself to live forever. But in this case, Zetsu isn't looking for eternal life, he is trying to become complete again.) This would basically, make a lot of sense from everything in seen.
