Dont you find it weird that every ninja in naruto explains their technique?

They do it in almost every anime/manga known to man. It's to hep us understand hte move, but more importantly help waste time so they can end the chapter or episode with a cliffhanger or something epic. Like with the lastest Naruto, he took too long with the whole shared vision thing so he could end with Bee transforming....crude, but very effective

They do that so we can understand. So instead of two ninja's fighting and one pulls a kick a$$/incredible Technique outta nowhere and one dies or hurts the other drastically, and nothing is said, how would we know? But sometimes a sweet tech. is used and nothing is said about it, only b/c it is usually a main, known, or new character's move but is reveled later so we may grasp the idea so we can make sense on how awesome, lame, or cheap the move/ tech. is. I could go on and on about it but need I really? -Long Story Short- this is B/c it's for us (the reader) to understand what's going on and not to be left out in the dark on things, too much. And w/o this manga would be dead, no one but the Author and Artist would know what's going on, unless they make it a plain and clear manga story-line, and that's just no good. P.S The way they run makes it more appealing to the reader/viewer if the hands are behind them, it wouldn't be as appealing. And if your so obsessed about the "non efficient" way they run, don't you think how impossible it is how they do, well EVERYTHING ELSE?!? They are NINJA'S who cares how they run? They can do such crazy inhuman things! Why pay ANY attention to how they run, or put too much thought into it. Sorry that's just my opinion(s).

Personally I think that everything they do is stupid. Don't get me wrong I love the manga and most of the characters but sometimes I wonder if they actually do stupid shit just to make it harder on themselves.

Perhaps the biggest thing that annoys me though is how when they are running, their arms are thrown backwards. It is the least efficient way of running I have ever seen.

The running part is a technique where you lean forward and use your own weight to run faster. Like when you almost lose your balance when leaning forward, and they use that to make them run even faster. The hands are used to keep the balance better.

Beat me to it . My sport tutor showed us this sprinting technique when i was in 10th grade( i think ). You lean forward( as Owner said, almost loosing balance) and you keep your arms back for counter balance, i can even go in detail how ppl trained it, but its just plain booring xD . The point is you gain speed, but you remain somewhat unstable, and if you trip or loose your ground, you faceplant like a bawss . That's why sprinters usually use this technique only few meters before the finish line.

Bleach, Kenpachi vs Tousen. The latter used his bankai which nullifies opponent's senses. Kenpachi was deaf, and there was no one else around except Komamura standing a long distance away. Yet Tousen took his time to explain his bankai, nice and slow. I guess author did that so that the viewers know what the hell is going on, but that just looked stupid.
