Zetsu says amateratsu is the strongest Ninjutsus, not the strongest of itachi's jutsus. And that claim is wrong. I was setting the thing of legendary,l because LEGENDARY IS A NAME NOT A FACT!!! the legends sayed that Madara died in the Valley of the end.
You are putting as fact the comentaries of one char, not what manga state, it's completely different.
Also, are u saying that Madara or Tobi can dispense with YM, since it can repel any and all ninjutsu as you say??? even bijuu or jinchuriki ones? the hard thing they are looking for.
there is a flaw on that logic.
Please counter my arguments with logic, not with "Zetsu say this".

I think the only kind of techniques that would get past the yata mirror are the ones that don't hit the yata mirror. The yata mirror will repel anything that comes to it and I actually do believe it could stop the tbb. The only way that the tbb would hit susanoo would be from behind, where the yata mirror isn't placed. His susanoo is pretty much invincible against an enemy since mostly everyone uses attacks that will probably hit the yata mirror head on. The swamp would actually be effective on susanoo since it doesn't really hit the yata mirror. If Itachi could place the yata mirror below him, then I'm not sure if it will render the swamp ineffective. So my belief is that the Yata mirror will repel anything, so the best way is to somehow get around it and hit susanoo from behind or the open sides. If it's one versus one then that's a problem since Itachi is obviously keeping an eye on you so he'll probably be aiming the Yata mirror at his opponent. Susanoo could be defeated but only as long as you don't hit the Yata mirror head on. That's just with the Yata mirror so with the totsuka blade, it will be more of a problem since whatever it stabs gets sealed. That's why zetsu stated it was practically invincible, because it's nearly impossible to be trying to get past the yata mirror without being open to being sealed with that sword. It's possible but extremely hard. Not to mention, Susanoo itself is a defense.

Well it's not entirely pointless... Alot of people are new to naruto and the base and need to be 'enlightened'. Plus it's interesting to see what others think about how strong Itachi really is 1 vs 1. While I think he is strong and probably practically invincible he does have weaknesses... His stamina. Although it was because of the disease he had. Now that he has been revived he no longer has it and his body is now indestructible. He is invincible to all but maybe a few of the strongest ninjas in history it will be interesting to see what part he will play in the war and towards the end of Shippuden, especially where Sasuke is concerned.
Go back to where Itachi used Tskuyomi on Kakashi, it was days for him there and second(s) for those out of Tskuyomi (asuma, kisame). Kakashi wasn't there for a second he felt every stab from Itachi for days and a perfect jinchuuriki who works with their beast can escape. The Beast is inside the jinchuuriki and will be able to snap their host out like the 8 tails did against Taka (Sasuke). And yes Sasuke can affect time since he did it against Danzo to make him think he had more time with izagani.Mate read what I wrote in the OP:

Plus Itachi was weaken after each use of an MS jutsu and was drained so dodging it all you have to do really (strong ninjas like naruto, 4th Raikage, Bee, Minato and so on) then counter. Sasunoo did the most damage to Itachi/Sasuke body as we saw from the battles they used them in.

Itachi's Tsukuyomi is almost a 1 shot ability, it has 1 weakness: If your target is blood related and has the Sharingan, he CAN break Tsukuyomi. This is a manga fact and was demonstrated by Sasuke. This is the only way to escape Tsukuyomi.
What this means is that if you are not blood related to Itachi, you must AVOID getting hit by Tsukuyomi or COUNTER it with a MORE powerful Genjutsu!

To be able to SURVIVE vs Itachi you must be able to DODGE or BLOCK Sword of Totsuka STAB attack, if it stabs you even in your finger it is a 100% 1 shot kill. Orochimaru and Ultimate Nagato were 1 shotted by the Sword of Totsuka. Because the Sword of Totsuka is a liquid ETHERAL Sword, you can't break or destroy it.
The only characters that can AVOID the Sword of Totsuga are:
1. Sage of the 6 Paths: He is the god of Naruto storyline, nobody can defeat him and he can defeat anybody.
2. Madara Uchiha (Including Tobi Madara Uchiha, they are the same): The ability to shift out of reality and teleport.
3. Minato: His yellow flash ability, Teleportation.
4. Raikage (s): Both the Third and Fourth raikage have the speed to avoid Sword of Totsuka.
5. Naruto KM: Naruto's yellow flash matched and out speeds the fourth Raikage.
*Common misconception: Nagato can only block the first Sword of Totsuka stab with his Shinra Tensei, then it will have a 5 sec cooldown.
To be able to land a lethal strike on Itachi you must somehow by pass the YATA MIRROR which reflects everything, the only way to do this is teleportation.
The only characters that can teleport and pass the Yata Mirror are:

So the be able to beat Itachi you must have BOTH the abilities to AVOID Blade of Totsuka and BYPASS the Yata Mirror.

Minato's intentions weren't to beat the fox though. He wanted to keep the balance of the villages by making Naruto a jinchuuriki. That's why he performed the seal. If it was just a straight up fight, I'm sure Minato could have beaten the fox; he pulled off his own plan flawlessly. Also, he had to deal with Tobi and saving the village. I'm pretty sure Itachi couldn't have dealt with Tobi, then saved the village, then beaten the fox.
