but doesnt this happen when mermaids reach a certain age...like gets all old n wrinkly? lol

HeheeHe!!! Nah!! Above 30, I don't think they would wrinkle that much!!! That's the age when they develop legs to walk on land. The concept behind using Tamatebako is to increase age of a person!!! I was expecting it to be used on her and initially thought it would shrink her size too!!! But as "Totsuka No Tsurugi" pointed above in a comment, it only increases the age. No idea if it would shrink the size now!! That's the dilemma we are facing with size rather than age or her ability to walk!!!

How does a Mermaid have a baby that big and where does it come out from?
....

I doubt she'll join the Strawhats though, coz Luffy wouldn't think of her as a very useful crew member

i agree, everyone in the SH crew has a greater ambition/purpose that is somewhat interlinked...her's doesn't fit in:confused:
