Why do people want to see horror movies ?

What is your opinion regarding this, people love to watch horror movies, Why ?

To get a thrill of minor fear. I don't know, I've never actually thought of this. This could be said about all genre's really.

Not true. At least, not all of them. I watch horror movies alone, at night and they don't scare me at all.

And to answer the thread's question, I watch horror movies because of the suspense and the mistery. It's entertaining.

For fun...I watched so many stuff, nothing terrifies me anymore. I can still get disgusted by something, but not scared.​
