Madara vs Hashirama

Yeah the manga says that once Hashirama got control of the tailed beasts, Mito sealed it into herself so that she could aid Hashirama.

I wouldn't call it even. Hashirama's ability is specifically designed to suppress tailed beasts powers. He can't control them what he does is basically what Yamato does to Naruto, just on a larger scale. Mokuton suppresses chakra.

So once Hashirama had the 9-tails suppressed Mito sealed it into herself. Now instead of it being two on two, it is two vs. one and one of them if a jinchurikki and the other is a super strong kage. What was EMS Madara supposed to do?

Also I don't count it really as a fight against the 9-tails since Hashi was basically built for sealing and holding tailed beasts, he didn't have to fight it like Minato or Hiruzen.
