what if Minato was the Jinchuuriki of Kyuubi, and he learned Sage mode like Naruto, including Rasenshuriken which he was trying to develop - would he be able to Defeat edo Madara?

exactly.... minato is such ninja who can defeat people of much much high caliber very easily and fastly..... and if there are people with whom this doesnt work then he can never defeat them.... eg: so6p, edo madara and tobi (may be)
