The God's palace seems so nice. Very fluffy! Though I would like it to be more heavenly. I imagine heaven with a more Romantic and Gothic architecture, and I rather see the Oriental type in the Fishman Island (I have mixed feelings for the Kuja Island, but I understand Oda's motives, since he wanted the amazons, but a more civilized version of it, and Chinese architecture does seem to fit). And Wiper looks cool with long hair xd
SHIRAHOSHI IS THE QUEEN OF THE SEA KINGS? Are you kidding me? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! That is so mind blowing!!! I was O_O O_O O_O I NEED LARGER EYES!! I mean, the simple fact that the Sea Kings have this sort of "magic" behind them, where there is a (I assume) supreme ruler, a Queen, which can be born in any race (Also my assumption). In fact, like Cali said, seeing them speaking so calmly is monumental to me, and gave me a whole new perspective over the Sea King race, being so that they seem much more civilized and organized than simple monsters roaming the ocean, as if there is actually a whole society with traditions, rules and a purpose. I wonder if they played a big role on the void century, and are waiting to play it again.
"The Power that has the potential to destroy the world" My mind is itching all over! Are they a weapon? Are they a way to transport the Fishpeople and the Merfolk? Were they the ones that brought them to the Sea Floor? What is their connection with the Void Century?!? I hope I don't seem as hyped that in previous, but this chapter makes me have huge doubts, my mind is extremely hyped with questions, instead of just screaming WOW AWESOME ATTACK!
My jaws literally dropped to the ground. "That human with the hat, it's almost as if he could hear our voices". I'm blown away. Luffy is awakening the power to hear the voices of things, like Roger did. It's so surprising that Roger ranks so low it the popularity charts, he is a BEAST of EPIC PROPORTIONS!! He is simply amazing, and the fact that Luffy is following his footsteps just makes me want to cry of happiness with a huge smile on my face. Every time he says "I want to become the Pirate King" a whole tsunami of emotions floods my body and it's so amazing.
"Until the promised day" So I wonder. My theory would be that the promised day is the time where the Fishpeople and Merfolk are willing to go to the surface and create a society there, but this quote made me wonder if that time as come, or if that's really the meaning of the promised day. To think that after 14 years One Piece's story line is still growing and developing and reaching epic proportions. I look back on the story and seeing stuff like Ennies Lobbies, Impel Down, Marine Ford and now having the realization that there are still so much to discover and that there are going to be even greater and EPICER arcs and battles ahead, it just makes me once again wanting to worship Oda. I never knew why people get so emotional over meeting a celebrity and getting their autograph, but every time I think about Oda I just get it. I would be so honored to meet him, and I would treat his autograph as a treasure.
(AND TO THINK THE CHAPTER IS STILL NOT OVER!!!)
So Caribou swapped the Mermaids for the treasure. I wonder why? My guess would be that his Swamp abilities are not as bottomless as I initially though. So I guess he has a limit on how much he can sink on his body, which gives him a great weakness to explored. Another would would be Fire, since it would harden the mud, and thus he would become tangible (Sort of like water vs Crocodile, where the water makes the sand aggregate and thus made Crocodile tangible.) But still, what's the deal with Caribou? Is he really just a thief or is there something else? Why does he want to take the Straw Hats down, just for the prestige or does he want something with fame he would acquire?
Its so nice to see that the entire race is changing their ideals. They're taking HUGE steps against racism, and it's just so moving. This is becoming one of the greatest endings of all arcs. And Surume's FINE! He isn't leaving!!! I smell new straw hat!!!
Oh dammit! Chopper's useless after Monster Point. What's the point then? Well, it is an upgrade yes, but still... YES it is a GREAT upgrade, but meh, I'd expect more. Though having his cheeks pressed in like that is just so CUUUUTE!!!
Finally, they're beaten. I feel sorry for Hodi though xd. Not only was he hit by Luffy's attacks over and over again, he was finished with freakin HAKI INFUSED 3RD GEAR GATLING ELEFANT GUN, and not only that, the attack was not only directed to Hodi, but to vaporize the ship too, so even after Hodi was knocked out, Luffy had to keep the attack up. What an overkill, omg.
Luffy's beaten up again. It's sad to see that even after all the training, Luffy still had to push himself to a life threating condition, especially considered his opponent was Hodi. Well, in all honesty, he was a very fearsome opponent because of the pills. Makes me think of Don Krieg, with all his armors and weapons, it's like his battle power doesn't really come from him but from attachments. Though LOL, is it just me or does it seem like no Straw Hat has the same blood type? But Ooh... sad... the fishman's minds are still not totally opened to the Humans...

Jinbei! Meh, I was expecting King Neptune to do it, or Prince Fukaboshi. But I guess Jinbei is just as cool, and I was very happy. He is awesome. "But the law!" " I'm a (f*cking) pirate" BADASS!
Oh my... the flashbacks of all the important people. Otohime, Tiger, Arlong... Oh my, it's so moving It's like watching history changing
The image of Jinbei and Luffy laying down side by side is not only just epic but also carries a deep emotional charge with it and- what?

I haven't thought of it, but maybe, it is still possible. But Shirahoshi is gaining even greater proportions, and I don't think she can travel the world with Luffy, she might have bigger things waiting.
As for Haki, we know that Conqueror's Haki, or Kings Disposition is a skill that is born only for those that are meant for great things and the skill to rule over the others, and are incredibly influential and powerful people. What if Roger was born with an upgrade to the Conqueror's Haki, as the supreme distinction of the King among Kings, something that Luffy is starting to have to?

I think that is the ability needed to reach Raftel, since I think that place is surrounded by all kinds of Sea Kings and what not.

I still believe that Jinbei will say no, I want him to join but there is still a big argument in my mind why he can't join.
The army failed to stop an insurrection, they are beat up and just lost to internal problems and cant defend themselves from pirates coming in. Yes they have an emperor protecting them but I believe that Jinbei will stay to help protect Fishman Island as any new pirates are not willingly going to try and fight a Schibukai, except for the SH, so I think Jinbei will see it as his responsibility to stay and protect the island and its inhabitants...
I do not hate Jinbe but I didn't want him in the crew too. But if we re-think about what he has done for Luffy, I believe he has to be there to see and help Luffy become the Pirate King. I think he will tag along. I also have an inclination towards Shirahoshi joining too.
As of to take care of Fishman Island, its a piece of cake for the fishman now and they may not be in danger anymore. They can be welcoming and hostile at the same time depending on human behaviors. I think they have learnt that from luffy's hard work in saving them. Rules will be removed and more fishman will show enthusiasm in extending support to have peaceful ties with humans. They will be fine for now.

Yes. Someone is needed to keep inspire the fishman and merfolk and Jinbei does exactly that. While the Princes and the King can keep a hold of the guards and the normal habitants, someone not only strong but influential in the Fishman District is needed to trully bring every Fishman and Merfolk together. So, like Vivi, Jinbei should stay behind and assume bigger responsibilities.
Yes, Shirahoshi is in the exact same position and would be more obvious if it was Shirahoshi who was left behind, but I still want her to join, despite not being rational.
14 Reasons why Jinbe will join:
- Helmsman (BB crew has one – Jesus Burgess) – he drove the ship in the gate of justice.
- Possibly the 9th member – new volume cover.
- Will have to wander and will never be able to leave peacefully on FI because he is an active pirate with bounty (just like Rayleigh always has to hide) – he can’t access fishman island.
- Voice of reason for the crew ? A father like character ?
- The crew is missing a fishman who can give a great grip for the water and be a scout.
- Can be a great guide for the new world.

The only ones I would disagree with would be the ones I italicized.
Jinbei told Ace that he wasn't going to look out for Luffy just because he was Ace's brother. Jinbei said he only protected those he has high regards for, so Ace's request wouldn't really weigh in on his decision.
Luffy did release him, but without Jinbei they never would have made it to the war, so I think they are relatively even there.
As far as Arlong, I felt that when they talked about it in the Sea Forest they came to terms. Nami had no grudge that it happened, and he was grateful to Luffy, but I think they moved past that. But this is a pretty big leap I know.
Anyways, I agree that Jinbei will join and kudos for the list of reasons.

I think that is the ability needed to reach Raftel, since I think that place is surrounded by all kinds of Sea Kings and what not.
