The Straw Hat pirates are starting to look a bit overpowered right now. Luffy has Haki now. I really want to see a Luffy vs Smoker rematch hahahah. Or Luffy vs an Admiral and maybe he loses only slightly but injures one bad.

We havn't seen anything from kid or trafic law in 2 years who knows wht they've accomplished or how big they also have grown.

But this would really make probably almost on league with Shanks

After the war, the world went into a disarray in terms of power. Thus, we cannot compare them right away without knowing anything about what happened to the world in these two years. There is always a probability that someone else is better than Luffy. (And mostly everyone knows about Luffy's Haki by now.) I did not expect there to be any rookies in existance and that too with a higher bounty than Luffy till they were introduced in Sabaody Arc.

Prediction:
I also wanted to add this, the probability of shirahoshi shrinking seems to have gone up. We now know that Caribou stole the treasury from Ryuga Palace which also means that he may be in hold of Tamatebako (shrinking apparatus) which might be among them. I think Caribou will play a part in the next few chapter as to retrieve the treasure and also a possibility of using the apparatus.

We also know that a person will guide shirahoshi and I expect it to be none other than Luffy, whcih brings to my point that the coming chapters we might see some drama involving caribou, Tamatebako and shirahoshi might become another addition to the crew.

The Strawhats overpowered ? no way

They just got completly wiped out by a single marine 2 years ago. This arc was to show off skills. Believe me they will get their asses kicked soon enough. Think of all the other crews out there. Whitebeard pirates, Shanks, Blackbeard they are just a glimpse of the new world that we haven't seen yet.

Jinbei will join ? I think so... but not next chapter. Why else would there be a cliffhanger. I think he has some unresolved business on the island, wants permission/approval from the royal family (Jinbei is a man of honour) Luffy and co will take care of the unresolved business and Luffy drags the new helmman/diplomat of the new world onto the Sunny.

Why is he going to join?
- They strawhats were always a bit helpless on open water when chased by tons of marines
- He has water attacks
-He posses haki
- he can fufill Otohimes dream, he failed as captain of the New fishman pirates but he can show the world that human and fishman can work together.
- He swore to Ace that he would protect Luffy.
- He has a funny side as well, just not many chances to prove it (war and stuff)
- He has knowledge about the new world which is pretty damned convienent at this point.

He blocked Akianu's Punch with his bare hands for a while. The same punch that burned Ace the Flame man's inside to a crisp and tore Whitebeards face off.

How would he have blocked that punch without his hands being molten off.

I don't like Jinbe true, but that doesn't mean I know when to turn my bias off. Unless it's stated or shown EXPLICITLY that he can use Haki, common sense dictates that he doesn't have it. Oda has taken pains to show us who have Haki or not.

Moria is a former Shichi. I know he doesn't have Haki since he couldn't hurt Luffy in the Black Box. Croc is a former Shichi yet I know he doesn't have Haki since he doesn't need it, same with Blackbeard.

Is a Haki infused sword better than Haki infused hands? It's the same thing coating whichever object you apply it to.

Fishman Island has to rebuild relations with humans and clear up any old laws that feel like curses. Jinbe has a reason to stay on FI, since it's clear pirates can mess up the island, and they can't rely on Shirahoshi, not when she doesn't have full control over her abilities and the Sea Kings respect Luffy more than they do to her.
