Neji vs Shikamaru

The shadow is chakra so it wont get near Neji and neji know all about it if we put it that way Shikamaru cant beat neji there both smart but shikamaru lacks the power he is another KAKASHI he has everything but lacks the stamina

Shikamaru cannot keep using shadows either..and besides, intelligence is nothing if you can't use it practically. He lacks speed, strength and stamina and determination. I mean what good is it if you can think of a plan..but not execute it?

Neji has a lot of chances and since Hyuga and Uchiha are the best clans in the leaf along with the Senju then I'm guessing that a Hyuga will win against a Nara. Therefore, you can already see Neji winning. Not only can Neji see through all the shadows clearly and just rotate them away, Neji has much more chakra and stamina then Shikamaru. Neji also has Mid-range jutsu such as Air Palm. Neji is the stronger one, now that I have named reasons Neji would win let me tell you why Shikamaru has his own chances.

Shikamaru has great IQ surpassing Neji's. Shikamaru can also figure out the Hyuga blind spot since he is the most talented of his clan and if Shikamaru has prep. time to plan a strategy then Shikamaru would most likely win. Shikamaru is a very tough opponent to deal with since his shadows are so sneaky and his weaponry is dangerous Shikamaru has his chances, even though he has low stamina and low chakra, he can still damage somebody up hard specially if he has a blind spot.

Neji Hyuga would win.

With neji's byakugan he could see shikamaru's shadow coming and evade. And shikamaru wouldn't be able to hide for the same reason. Also, even if neji was caught with shadow he still has the ability repel many attacks by bursting chakra out of his body (although i'm don't think it would work against shadow strangle hold)....you should include the terrain and even the time of day for this sort of fight because i still think that given the situation shikamaru could win. it just looks better for neji when you look at abilities.

shikamaru takes this, with extreme difficulty reason is cause although shikamaru has little stamina, im sure if he wanna kill someone or go all out, someone like neji cant survive his wrath, also neji knows shikamaru is smarter than him so i think neji would be too concerned with wat shikamaru is plotting and jus fall into a shikamaru trap

Exactly, just like with Kidomaru's web. And yeah I guess you're right, if it's night Shikamaru is ****ed..I believe however Neji is neutral in time of day and terrain (advantage) while Shikamaru depends on the Sun and environment such as trees and buildings to provide greater shadows.

Neji with medium difficulty. Neji would see every trap he would try to plan, every shadow from every direction. And for some reason ppl think neji stays in one spot and never pursue his opponent.lol he is also a strategist.

and the one fact ppl fail to realise is.. Neji doesn't have to rotate to protect himself. He doesn't even have to move to omit chakra from any part of his body. He can affect everything with in a certain range.haha

Against kisame he did 64 palms inside water prison/escaped with chakra alone. When kakashi was in the same jutsu he stood no chance.

He is extremely skilled..there's a reason he made it to Jonin and he's considered a genius of one of the four noble clans of the Hidden Leaf Village.
