I thought it had been established that the Uchiha inherited the Sage's chakra? Whatever.

My theory is the Senju may HAVE inherited a large chakra reserve and stamina while the Uchiha may have inherited the Doujutsu and the ability to use abilities with a small amount of chakra. Like for example if the jutsu costs 31 chakra then they instead would use it for 12 chakra.

and you are correct, when kakashi used his MS, it drained his chakra to 0, he simply didn't possess the chakra of an uchiha to use it effectively, senju have more stamina and can live longer than the uchiha.

Stamina in naruto world is chakra...You need alot of it to last in a fight.......

Uchiha inherited more powerful chakra... They may not have as much as Senju's but its a sort of Quality - Quantity

oops, I just reread my own thing I posted and understand it better, alright here we go.

chakra=physical+spiritual

it said that the uchiha inherited the eyes, powerful chakras, and the "spiritual" part, while the senju inherited the body, life force, and the "physical" part. my deduction is this:

senju: strong body(makes up for the eyes), lives a lot longer(makes up for not having powerful chakra), and physical energy(chakra)

uchiha: powerful eyes (makes up for the body), powerful chakra (makes up for the shorter lifespan), and spiritual energy (chakra).

Senju were always known for the chakra....Look at tsunade.....healing a entire village.....Or naruto.. He isn't even a full senju..Just a relative....A uzumaki......And he has 4x kakashi's chakra......Itachi and sasuke spam some ms jutsu and bam theyre out of chakra....

Thanks to you and Owaiji(sorry if I butchered your name x_X) we can now come to a close and definite answer.

The spiritual energy can answer why the Uchiha are better suited for genjutsu.

The physical energy can answer why the senju were better suited for close range combat and being able to survive(sometimes even able to live longer). This may also explain the vast chakra reserves of their distant relatives, the Uzumaki.

Senju have more chakra. Uchiha's chakra is naturally great in quality not quantity.

In Naruto verse amount of chakra =stamina. Uchiha inheriting the sage's spiritual energy means they have powerful chakra. Power of chakra and amount are 2 different things.
For example if If A has more powerful chakra than B, A's fireball will be stronger than B's.
If B has more chakra than A, he can spam more fireballs than A.
