Nine tails lends chakra to Naruto.

As you know Naruto separated the Nine tails chakra, making it his own. After re-reading Chapter 561 the Nine tails says "No..I will give you my chakra and it alone. I dislike Madara...If the alternative is being controlled by him...I choose you. This made me think, shouldn't Naruto already have access to that charkra from kyuubi mode?

Does anyone think they could explain?

Naruto has access to the ninetails chakra, but in using it the ninetails can absorb narutos own chakra. Therefore he runs the the risk (if he uses to much) that the ninetails will absorb to much of his chakra and will be 'reborn' or simply will take over his body.

This is why KM is risky particularly if he uses shadow clones, because it splits up his chakra. Reread the chapters where bee is training naruto he explains all this (in raps haha)

I know the risks of KM and everything i just thought that Naruto didn't need the Nine tails to "give it to him" i thought Naruto could just take it thats what confused me, thanks for explaining it though

i think its because of the whole chakra exchanging thing but now that they have decided to cooperate im expecting crazy stuff to happen.

he is not giving him the chakra. he allows naruto to take his chakra without trying to take narutos chakra and be reborn...

But Kyuubi clearly stated that he was giving him his chakra.

And naruto didn't even go into Nine-Tails Chakra mode afterward.

While in KM, naruto own chakra is stored away, the kyuubi absorbs that chakra, turning it into his own, naruto cant use the KM and protect his own chakra at the same time so its easy pickings for the nine-tails. If you notice naruto stated earlier on that the kyuubi had recovered by sucking narutos chakra while hes been in KM, this is the chakra the Nine-tails gave to naruto. Which is why he didnt go KM, It was really he own chakra the nine-tails was given back to naruto. hope that helps!
