Chapter 1
Meet Raikou, a trouble making student who just got kicked out of his highschool for getting into fights and must attend a new school, Hoping to change his ways, he discovers a game called duel monsters. With duel montsers he finds friends, discovers his talents as a duelist, and regularly saves his classmates.
Mom- You will not disrespect any teachers, you will not be late for any classes, and you WILL NOT GET INTO ANY FIGHTS!!
Raikou- I know i wont.
Mom- Good. Remember we still love you, you just need to change your outlook and change your attitude. You need to get on the bus right after school your bus number is 150. Dont be late!
Raikou- I know mom
Mom- And stop saying i know! i love you and remember dont be late!
Principal- Oh i assure you, your son wont be late to anything while under my supervision. Please come into my office.
Raikou walked into the principals office and sat down.
Principal- I know you fought at your last school. And you were expelled. But one slip up from you, you will not be allowed back into any school in the county.
Raikou- I know
Principal- Any tardies you will need to stay after for community service.
Raikou- I know
Principal- And stop saying i know! Its yes sir to you. Now go to class
Raikou- * sigh* yes sir
Raikou walked around all day and went to his classes, he left and went to his bus. Walking to his house from his bus stop he noticed a group of kids from school gatherd around two guys wearing things on there arms and playing cards.
Guy from school- Hey! new kid!
Raikou- huh? ( as he turned around)
Sarutobi- Hey im sarutobi, you duel??
Raikou- Hey im Raikou, and no i dont know what that is.
Sarutobi in amazement- You dont know what dueling is!!
Raikou- uhh no whats dueling??
Sarutobi walked with Raikou and they disscussed Duel monsters. Sarutobi said if he came over then they could walk to the card shop and sarutobi would buy some cards for him that he could duel with and he'll show him to duel.
Raikou- Wow thatd be great! I may need some practice before i have an actual match like those guys though.
Sarutobi - thats fine I'll work with you, itll take a few weeks atleast though.
After telling his mom that this could be the start of a new life for him, his mom let him go with Sarutobi. They walked all the to the card shop and disscussed different cards and strategies and how to play. After a week of playing and staying over at Sarutobi's house, Sarutobi was amazed that he couldnt defeat Raikou. Raikou was a natural at the game.
The next week. Raikou walked into his new school and noticed that there was a group of kids gatherd around a flyer that read Match: Hunter vs New student Raikou! After school.
Raikou ran to go find Sarutobi.
Raikou: Sarutobi!!
Sarutobi: hey Raikou i was just looking for you!
Raikou: You put me up in a match?! I barely started! ive never had a match! we'll talk later i need to go to class! But dude why?!!
Sarah: Sarutobi he hasnt dueled before?! And you said He was amazing!?
Sarutobi: he is Sarah, this kid started last week and ive never been able to defeat him. Idk how he's this great this quick.
Sarah: But Hunter is the top dueslist here! He's never been defeated!
Sarutobi: I know, but if theres a duelist that can defeat hi, its that kid.
Later after school, people were all sitting in the bleachers at the football field, except for one kid standing in the middle of the field looking determined.
Hunter: Where's this new student. I need to finish this quick it bores me.
Raikou: Sorry im late I was...
Hunter: Whatever, you were probobly debating or not if you should duel the top student being the new student. But it was inevitable. You and I were bound to duel and you were bound to lose. Your pathetic.
Raikou got angry, He swallowed his anger remembering his last school, he couldnt afford the chance.
Raikou: okay Hunter, your perfect streak ends now. I'm gonna take you down a couple notches. I came to this school to prove to myself that im more than what i think of myself. Im not a Pathetic person that you say, or that my teacher's or principals think i am! I will show you what Im here to Prove.
