I really don't get it.... Rasenga is a wind element type. So how could you expect any other element to be the base for it? I could be wrong. I don't know too much about all the jutsus and techs. Not being a smart a** just asking.

tbh there's no way to answer, bcuz we don't know wtf would happen to Rasengan if you combined another element with it, Kakashi used lightning, and ended up with Chidori and Raikiri, and those are way different from Rasenshuriken, but if I could pick which element to combine, I'd pick fire

Actually Kakashi failed to combine his element into rasengan so he made chidori instead of that.

Rasengan is just chakra control, I'm not sure if we could call it ninjutsu exactly. But the normal rasengan has no element, only Naruto's Wind Rasengan and Rasenshuriken have a wind element. And Jiraiya's fire one in the video above.
