no he cant....... thats 1 of the things i hate about itachi cheerleaders(not saying ur 1) they keep saying itachi can kill any 1 in a sec with sword of totsuka and that his invincible with yata mirror and tsukoyumi. that goes for minato and and nagato cheerleaders as well with FTG equals instant death or chibaku tensie equals instant death (well not really instant cuz he has to gather all the rocks and stuff) but u get my point rite?

Answer for thread:
From the skills we seen Itachi to posses I think he may have a chance but he will need alot of help to seal it.
As far as his sealing abilities go he has one of the best chances because of the sword. So being that he is an edo right now and the effect's of his Ms doesn't bother him I think he has a good chance.
But on the other hand he could just end up in a repetive cycle of getting his arse owned over and over again, that's why he would need help.
Ofcourse though in the end many would die in the process.

I know it's a question but it helps with the decision if you know the limits of people etc. And you. Said "so that being edo tense" he didn't state weather he was edo tensei itachi or not

Nope, you can't get rid of a tailed beast forever, it's just he law of nature... otherwise don't you think that all peace seekers (Itachi,Minato,Jyraia,Sarutobi, etc.) would have found a way do get rid of them once and for all?
Also if it were possible the SO6P would have killed/sealed the Jiuby, but even he couldn't do that so he did what he thought was best instead ...
