Madara is the favourite to win, but unlike most ninja's itachi actually stand a chance due to his legendary items.

I will give it to madara though although he hasnt shown any feats in fuinjutsu, i wouldnt be surprised if he has some under his sleeves and thats the only way to stop an edo nninja.

I hate given characters powers they havent shown but its safe assumption with madara

It's not stupid...one stab from Tot ends Madara edo reign. But like you I think Madara can win but for now I'm saying draw between the two of them.

1.Madara doesn't have Gedo Mazo Tobi does
2.He hasn't shown Shinra Tensai or Chibaku Tensai
3.Even if he did have those moves their Edo's, they will just Regenerate.He needs some sealing which Gedo Mazo does and Tobi has that

1. Seriously pay attention! i didn't say he had gedo mazo where did you get that from? he can absorbe with preta path or human realm.

2. Shinra tensei is a reningan ability, that's like saying he cant copy jutsu with his sharingan because he hasn't shown it yet.

3. Chibaku tensei was good enough for the juubi , itachi and his susano shouldn't be a problem, secondly he can remove itachis soul with human path once he gets him into a submission.
