how is dark souls?

someone has been telling me about this multiplayer rpg, saying its challenging and really fun, but thats from one person, what do you folks think?

is it a good buy?

if you have bought the game speak up and tell me how you like it.



now im thinking skyrim or dark souls


im a big fan of online multiplayer but at the same time skryim looks amazing

i will not get both because i have a life.

explain to me how fun it is, and also how quick you get bored playing it

i have played demon souls and dark souls.... and it is a really hard & fun game....but sometime frustrating...i liked demon souls more then oblivion... but skyrim is definitly better then dark souls....dark souls is a sadistic.. fantasy horor game... which is fun to play...but it wil get frustrating if you play it for long periods of time(sometimes u need to switch to another game just to man up)... the game gives u an amazing feeling of acomplishment if u defeat a boss or big number of enemy's... and everything works fine...there are no weird animations or glitches..its a slow paced game where u fight for every inch of progress.... every enemy needs its own tactics(that means everyone/everything can kill you easily)..the online part is not massive...its just sometimes u can summon someone(a friend) to help you or you can infiltrate there world to kill them if there is no more then 10 levels difference between u and them....so if u want a hardcore fantasy horor game, it wont get better then this........ but.....skyrim.....damn skyrim... skyrim is the best game of the year, period.. i even dream about skyrim... thats how good it is....

lol because if i get both then i wouldnt have time to even play both, i can tell skyrim is incredibly long and will take time , and then theres dark souls

i only need one rpg, im leaning on skryim hard core but i wanna know if dark souls has alot of online players or not, if not then ima just go get skyrim
