All fine and well, but who's going to host all that then? You would need to continuously make new threads and I know I'm not going to do it. Unless you could find a mod who actually would work with it all the time, it would be something very unpractical, even in the case you would get a mod.
I've already said that I would be taking charge of the idea, considering it's mine after all, and I wasn't asking for it to be anything huge as in a normal contest, but something fun for the GFX area, so I don't think it needs to be anything amazing and huge.
It's not a matter of finding one, but mainly a matter of how you're actually planning to do it. At this point it's nothing more than some vague concept. Does a new thread has to be made each time? How long can people vote? How do you decide who can participate? All that kind of stuff. You're talking about a GFX King of the Hill. We all can imagine something by it in our heads, but how do you plan to execute the idea?
1. Yes, a new thread would have to be made everytime. I don't see how it's such a hassle though since nothing special needs to happen to them (sticky, lock etc.) and I can use a template for it like you would with SOTW and when it's finished I can lock it myself.
2. As I've stated in my post here [

] I've said that the voting period would be 3 days, which I think is ample time for everyone to vote and to keep things moving along at a steady pace.
3. Anyone can participate, so long as they can submit something. I don't see why anyone should be excluded from something like this, you'll just have more of a chance if you're better. But in saying that, it also gives incentive for new people to try out for it, given they're persistent.
Sure it's going to be a work in progress, but in reality what works out the first time you make it? The idea has gotten the support from other people, and speaking to Lawliet, says she's fine with it. If it doesn't work, then what's the worst that can happen?
