I am unsure if the former hosts are edos or are they paths? I think paths make more sense to me because they have tobi's eyes, if they were edos they didn't die with the eyes so why would they have them? I'm hearing a little of both and I don't even know for myself. Discuss.

i have no idea and have def been wondering that myself i think they are jus edo;s because if u remeber when pain had his six paths each bodycould only use one jutsu butas we seen last chapter then can all still use ninjutsu so id have to say the edo bodies not paths ..........but i have no proof so that jus a prediction

Kabuto summoned them. They are edo ninja's but tobi with the rennigan has gained control of them.

how did they have the rennigan and the sharingan cause with nagato they only had rennigan and how do they move without the rods and they use their original Jutsu. his control of the rennigan is different . anybody know why?
Well i think i can explain that. Edo tensei brings back the corpses to life and it only took chakra from Kabuto when summoning. Beside that he's using chakra to control them in battle, but he doesn't need to take control of the jinchuuriki anymore, so that doesn't matter. Then madara uses the same technique as Nagato, he doen's need chakra feeders cause these corpses doesn't need chakra, cause of Edo tensei. So the only thing left to do is control them. And i gues he's doing that with the rinnegan/sharingan.
@above me. Yes cause nagato had only rinnegan, but tobi has a rinnegan and a sharingan, so it propably takes over the eyes of the user.
