Does itachi have susanoo/legendary items?

If itach has susanoo he wins. If he doesn't his only chances is to get gaara in a genjutsu, which will be extremely hard considering gaara can make sand clones and can see through a third eye.

Itachi does have water techs. And I don't think that water tech should necessarily be gaara's weakness since Doton > water.

Also itachi has tsukyomi... which is 1 hit k0 , And gaara has shown no problems in looking at ms users eyes....
