Edo tensei is just combining puppets with summons, nothing wrong with it.
Puppets + summons = Edo

I don't think physically Kabuto was ever equal to Kakashi, he is now top 5 with Edo but equal to Kakashi, nah...

Tsunade's words are pointless if we get to see the real Madara fighting in top form and he doesn't cut it as #1 for me, atleast not yet anyway. Especially since he is Kabuto's Edo.
