Uchiha are inferior to senju. That's why they have illusion skills because they need it. They can't fight head on like the Senju's. If you are weaker, you result to tricks. That's the reason Naruto is op now. He's a senju who has a forbidden tech illusion jutsu. It's like a senju body with tech or mindset in battle of an uchiha.

I highly doubt that he meant Select Few = life or death situation since being a ninja means that you are practically faced with life or death situations all the time. And I'm also pretty sure that majority of the uchiha clan were ninjas, meaning if majority are ninjas, and being in a life/death situation is practically mandatory for being a ninja, then every uchiha member who was a ninja should have the sharingan, meaning the majority of the clan.

Many of the clan members were ninja's and from what weve seen of all the uchiha ninja's they have had the sharigan (already shown you two links) therefore all can activate it, but only in life and death situations.

Despite my previous statement, I think they could be equal. I mean each side has there disadvantages & advantages. That goes for every clan, I think some may be more powerful than others but they balance each other out?

Look man, just because there is a one picture that shows a bunch of uchiha with the sharingan doesn't mean that they all were capable of gaining a sharingan. Sasuke's statement was pretty darn blatant without any hidden meanings and I am sure kishi meant it to be this way.

Both is guaranteed if you are an uchiha. One is from birth, the chakra the other you have to awaken.

Tbh if was more hype than anything when kakashi revealed it. If you havent noticed when something is first introduced there is alot of hype surrounding it but later on we find that others have either the same ability or similar
