Its ninjutsu but under the class of kinjutsu because it takes the life of the user as well. Tbh arguing with you is pointless (this is my last reply), you just seem to like arguing without any logic. I don't get why all of you are talking about totsuka sword and yata mirror like they don't have any limit. We only see them in action only one time (in TS case, 2). Let's see the facts like we DO see. Neither of both items/jutsus are of SOAP, thne only things that could a full bijuu. So don't make both of them God-like because they aren't. there isn't specially any proof to YM be such unfalible, we only have a commentary from an untruthfull char.

Take rasenshuriken for example. It was deemed a kinjutsu by tsunade since it would mess up naruto's chakra network if he couldn't throw it. Chidori was also deemed a kinjutsu by minato since it required running strait at the opponent, which is suicide if you don't have the sharingan to dodge.

And we know that both chidori and rasenshuriken are ninjutsu.

It is either ninjutsu, genjutsu, or taijutsu. Funjutsu falls under the category of ninjutsu.
