the very fact that oro cant possess sasuke or control him,as wehave already seen..., at that time oro waz quite week, he waz sick and waz on bed, taking advantage of that, sasuke attacked nd hence oro got owned by sasuke.

BUT, IF oro waz in his healthy condition,he could ave done better with that absorbing technique, NOT FORGETTING THE FACT THAT ORO WAZ AFTER A SHARINGan BODY FOR DECADES, HENCE HE MUST AVE SMTHI UP HIS MIND TO CONTROL IT TOO, AS HE ALREADY HAD EXPERIENCED ITACHI...

dude u just said it becoz u dont like oro...orochimaru had spent most of his life in research and inventing new jutsus he was a senin n a legend...he knew how to use almost every jutsu.as hiuzhiha said THAT he was in poor condition n sasuke took it as his only chance n attacked him...if he was in his better condition he cudve defeated sasuke!
