Well I just finsihed listening to the rest of Take Care and I can say that i am kind of disappointed. I was expecting more of the So Far Gone Drake but I think I have heard better mixtapes by Drake before. ( Yeah i know So Far Gone was a mixtape)
On topic though I think they both are good and they both have good songs on them.

Don't get me wrong, I like Wale but Drake style and flow is better than Wale's. Lyrically, Wale's album didn't deliver like Drake's. It has that smooth, laid-back feel to it, like the exact feeling of fall tbh. His CD's choice of songs and song layout is just ****ing brilliant. Take care for album of the year tbh.

I'm just hoping Drake moves away from the YMCMB family a bit and stick to his OVOXO shit I've been loving. Him and The Weeknd are the best two people in the game right now. No one's R&B music is messing with the Weeknd's. ✗

It was never dead. =/ Music as well as everything else changes. Hip hop has always gone through numerous time periods (i.e Gangsta rap in the nineties, snap music in 2004-2006, etc.)
