I would say "Tie" because both individuals haven't shown any abilities or skills that can prove one could win. Even if the Third Hokage was in his prime the battle still can go either way. Minato might have FTG but it still waste chakra and requires handseals to activate.
FTG, for those who don't know, is both a Ninjutsu and Fuuinjutsu.
1. The seal (Shiki) is place on a kunia where it is to mark the destination (Fuuinjutsu)
2. Using his chakra by forming the needed handseals he can instantaneously transports himself to the location of the seal. (Ninjutsu)
Basically FTG is similar to the Summoning Jutsu, which also requires chakra, and it also have the effects of Danzou abilitie of Izanagi, which let you activate the Jutsu after forming the handseals without having to do it repeatedly. The extended time, when active, also cost an ongoing drain of chakra.

Yes... Is there reason to believe otherwise ? or did kishi put it in his databook for fun? Or orochimaru say it in jest? Was he called a genius God of shinobi for no reason? .....

You can argue all you want, But if kishi says the Third kazekage was the strongest kazekage ... he was...

Kishi wrote those words...And have they any reason to lie/exxgerate? as i said, all the characters who have ever lied, had reasons which were clearly explained... If you can prove to me that iruka had any reason to lie about hiruzens power.. Fine... If you have Proof that kabuto and orochimaru had any reason to lie/exaggerate... fine.....The simple fact that those so called lies and exaggerations made it into the databook proves their validity....
The point is that the 4th never fought in public while the 3rd did so at multiple occasions.if somebody comes and tells you "That guy over there plays BETTER than klöse".you would not believe him.but if you SEE somebody play even HALF AS GOOD as klöse you will admire him and believe that "yeah,MAYBE he was just practicing and may even play better" and often exagerate.this is the general public perception.minato fought in the shadow of war and very few actually saw him fighting and those who did so never ceased admiring him like jiraiya.even his epic battle with tobi was outta public view.so he was less famous.when the oro's 4th coffin opened 3rd was horrified but when it was not minato he breathed a sigh of relief.he had said many times"things would've been different if minato was here".

Hiruzen knew every jutsus that Konoha posses except for Bloodline Limits or Secret Techniques....it's exaggerated he doesn't know Raikari or Kage Mane jutsus..maybe hidden snake hands but not every jutsus....Ninja aren't just gonna teach their hokage all their personal jutsus.
And 4th Hokage beats him. Once the 4th was in office Sarutobi always looked towards him to defend the village. We don't know of Sarutobi's prime it hasn't even been talked about enough to speculate enough...So stop speculating and go off what Kishi has shown us Sarutobi wasn't a match for the 4th.
Minato never fought in public? what the hell are you talking about.... everyone who was anyone knew what minato could do... villages had flee on sight because of his ability to massacre groups of ninja....what are you talking about fighting in shadows? ... he wasnt anbu....And don't like how you are exaggerating what he said....

lol i suggest you reread the previous posts.....The correct translation was said in past tense, that he knew and could perform all the existing techs in konoha... not Know and can perform all techs in konoha... The keyword is existing , meaning excluding past people who died , So at one point he could perform all jutsu...Sharingan isnt a jutsu... the things it casts are the jutsu-Tsukyomi etc.....Genetic traits- Bloodline limits aren't techniques, but they allow the user to use techniques... Kimmamro's bone condition allows him to use a jutsu called bone bullet etc..... Sigh i covered all of this in the past pages.... Its no exaggeration ..
So stop speculating and go off what Kishi has shown us

Hiruzen can't use secret hidden clan jutsus...I'm not talking about Bloodline limits....Ex....He couldn't use Ino-Shiki-Cho jutsus those are secret clan jutsus..It is exaggerated You believe word for word what Kishi wrote he contradicts this cause why or how could he learn personal thecniques Raikiri for example....
And you sound insulted my friend cause you feel the need to defend yourself very offensively...Sarutobi was shown fighting at 70+ years old yes he was said to be the strongest of the Kage's...The Current Kages not of all time...and Said to be the God of Shinobi cause he knew at least 90% of Konoha's jutsus......A young Sarutobi yes he can beat the $t but he's never been shown only the old version of him has at before Naruto was born or after Sarutobi would die due to FTG technique.....And if your just gonna ignore my points just to state your don't bother to respond.
Urm Hiruzen can't use secret hidden clan jutsus. you obviously haven't read my previous posts... when i said that when sarutobi was deemed professor, it had been shortly after konoha formed...2 clans formed Konoha Uchiha and senju...then more clans allied with them ....The known first set of clans are Uchiha, Senju,Sarutobi and akimichi....

At one point in konohas history, the clans decided to keep their techs from being taught to other ninja... so the abilities are passed down to clan mates.... They are not kekke genkai.... The manga translation that we nowadays give it is what makes it seem exaggerated... oro clearly did not say he could use all Konoha jutsu

The danzo thing i already covered ...... Danzo most likely didn't have his wind element at the time....seeing that current day chunnin all don't have elements , excluding naruto and sasuke - because they are op, and temari, because the wind vilalge specializes in wind jutsu...
Or it's possible wind isn't danzo's affinity and with his sharingan , he copied the techniques... I stick with the first point

minato a holes hiruzen good but i have never heard when you run into him on the battle field run or anything except a few tails he was jiraya's age when the nine tails attacked and was useless , and look how well jiraya's fought pain at the same age ( that piece was added for fools who like to talk shit)
